Just looking back to the earliest posts on LF, the site seems to have gone online on April 23rd 2005 (I admittedly might have the date wrong by a few days - anyone know the exact day?) - almost a year ago!

I really wonder how Erynn would feel if she knew on that day what her little forum would grow to in just a year, so congratulations to both her, her creation, and everyone here for helping to make LF what it is! :thumbs up:

The real point of this thread though, is to ask if any plans exist to celebrate Lyokofreak's first birthday, and if not, to come up with and share ideas. :)

Wow, someone remembered! I'm impressed. ;)

Technically, Lyoko Freak was born a couple days ago (but on Geocities; it was around the 12th or so that I moved onto my own server) and then the forum came to be on the 22nd. (My join date.)

I was actually planning something for this place, but I wasn't really sure *what*. There will definitely be a party thread, but I'm probably going to do something extra too. :)
Don't bother sending me messages or anything, I'm not in charge of the site anymore.

But I do love dancing.

Well then I guess Saturday the 22nd of April is our celebration day (thanks for clarifying things Star! :)) - hehe, problem for me is that it's the day I travel back to university - d**m! :P

Erynn, you have done such a wonderful job here, this forum rocks my socks, and everything else too for that matter.., April 22nd is perfect for LyokoFreak. Even though I havent been here a year, I am sure this forum has grown in so many ways...and I hope it only gets better. Erynn, you are one awesome person, not only as the site admin, and founder, and creator and everything else that pertains to LF, but as a friend to all of us as well. You are here for us so we are here for you.

Happy Birthday LF may you see lasting peace and happiness.

I would make a cake or something, but probably wont have the time...but what I would like to hear from Erynn is how it came to be...what her thoughts were..like a tribute sorta deal. She puts alot of time and energy into LF, but it definitely pays off as it is the only forum that I can say I am truly proud to be a part of, where people respect others, and are a true family that shares the same common interest. Erynn, you should be proud of yourself...we certainly are proud of you.

:D Oh must definitely we must celebrate! Congratulations Erynn on a glorious year of good old-fashioned, fun-filled CL goodness! XD LyokoFreak has been an absolute sanctuary for alot of us, myself included, and it's all thanks to you! ^.^

What should we call the celebration though? A Lyoko-versary? A Freak-iversary? ^^; Whatever it shall be called, it will certainly be a grand occasion! ^_^

This is one of the best and most active forums I go on and Eryn has done a marvellous job.

Celebrating the forum's birthday sort of reminds me of "The Trap" where at the end it looks like they are saying happy birthday to the computer. :nyeh!:

I think we should do a pageant thing, where there's different categories and we elect members to them and then vote for who we think should get it.

Example categories:
Most Insane Member
Best Mod
Best Graphic Artist
Best Movie Maker
Most Active
Most Liked
Most Knowledgeable about CL

Yup, all agreed upon by two of teh best Mods, so it's official! =O (Ha. Works for me 'cause 1. it's a weekend, and 2. it's spring break which adds hyperness to the weekend dose)
