My friend has that game and she thinks both of them is really fun.

I'm looking forward to the sequal to Kingdom Hearts, i've only played a little bit of the first game, I beat the prequel: Kingdom Hearts: Chain Of Memories, however for my birthday i'm finally getting a PS2 & the first games i'm getting are Kingdom Hearts & Kingdom Hearts 2.

So who's your favorite character in Kingdom Hearts?

Maybe it's the fact that I have no clue what's going on in between KH 1 & 2.

Or the fact that after 5 hours of play, my cousin had yet to play Sora.

Yeah in Kingdom Hearts one, you only play as Sora, however in Chain Of Memories after beating sora's game, you unlock Riku's game called Reverse/Rebirth, and get to play as Riku for the first time, and teh KH2 you get to start the game as Roxas (for the first 3 1/2 hours), a kid like Sora who does'nt know how to comb his hair either, and weilds a weapon similar to the keyblade.

...Thats why Zell was the coolest. He dressed normal.

I hate Disney with a passion, so no luck there. And I found Sora and Kari just annoying in general to be honest.

Well in 26 more days I am getting KH2 along with a guide book for roughly 76$ :p That will make my birthday right there....Oh and I am also looking for Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance 2 for the PS2 because that game rocked.....This is not open for discussion because if you try I will cover my eyes and say in a really loud voice LALALALAL I AM NOT LOOKING LALALALA....Yeah...It is in my top 10 favorites list...I get protective.....

I didn't play Chain of Memories so I had my friend tell me what happened. If anyone wants to know pm me. The thing that gets me mad is the fact that Chain of Memories isn't for PS2 but only for gameboy (as far as I know). Some people, like me, don't have a gameboy so they have no idea what happened inbetween KH1 and KH2. Unless they do a total recap before hand they shouldn't have Chain of Memories affect KH2.

I apprichiate the irony in your comment as you are a fan of Pro Wrestling where the individuals involed in it (Kane, Undertaker, Doink the Clown, Shaun Michales, Dude Love, Sting) wear very flashy outfits that could be considered over the top. Not to mention CL as the Lyoko forms and Odd's earth clothes could warrent this critique as well.

Not that I'm saying your opinion is bad. Just pointing out the irony in it that's all.

I am almost positive that the reason one plays as Roxas instead of Sora at the beginning of the game has both plot, continuity and technical reasons.

One of the biggest gaming gripes is that in every sequel...no matter what techniques your character learned in the previous game you would almost always have to "re-learn" them in the second game, as if the character had simply "forgotten" how to fight. Not very good continuity-wise, at all.

In KHII, one still has to "re-learn" how to use the buttons and spells (which is both a refresher for past gamers and the tutorial for new players), but you're not playing as Sora doing it...because he already knows how within the game. Roxas doesn't, so you learn with him, keeping the game continuity perfect.

This is just my theory, but I give the game programmers kudos for that if that was one of their intentions.

But one of my favourite actors voiced on this game, David Boreanaz (any BTVS/Angel fans around here? Guess not, since most people here like tons of cartoons and other stuff). HE voiced Leon, I think.

Maybe I should try KH-I. But it's way too childish for me to play a game with Disney characthers. The only cool thing Disney might have is their amusement parks.

Umm this game is not childish if you like rpg's you should give it a try and 2 words for you GAME PLAY it's great.
