So even more drama today:

around 2 AM Kadic time (about 7:40pm EST-ish) a group of us students couldnt get to sleep so we headed outside and just chatted it up a bit. But out of nowhere I ended up collapsing on the ground. While still lying on the ground I had no pulse, but somewhere along the line (possibly when Jesse was "man-handling" me j/k) I was revived, but still had a weak pulse and was unconcious for a good while. A group of students helped me back to the infirmary where Yolonda checked me up and pretty much concluded that I was fine and I just needed my rest. Majority of the group hung around and Kalani (whom we have a mutual crush going) was probably the one most affected by the whole thing.

A short while later I woke up, albeit weak, and the group attempted to explain what happened to me before I fell back asleep just a few minutes later.

Fast forward to around 6AM Kadic time (around 9PM-ish EST). Kalani is the only one still in the infirmary with me, sleeping next to the bed in a chair. She wakes up about this time. I wake up shortly after and try to get up, but oddly enough im in too much pain to get up. Kalani tells me not to get up and she goes to get Yolonda. When she gets back Yolonda tells me to stay put. Meanwhile Kalani goes to get me some breakfast since its obvious im going to be laid up for a little bit. while Kalani is out, Yolonda gives me quick checkup and finds out that in the least I have bruised a couple ribs. i could possibly have fractured them. Turns out when I collapsed earlier my fall was placed just right as to do this. When Kalani arrives, a few other students also arrive to check up on me. Kalani hands me my breakfast and Yolonda explains that Im going to be laid up in the infirmary for 1 or 2 days.

Time arrives for class and the group leaves. I finish my food, set the tray aside and fall back asleep.

Later in the afternoon about 3PM Kadic time (Midnight EST-ish), I am awake again-bored out of my mind. Yolonda apparently has left the room at this point as she is nowhere in sight. I spot crutches on the other side of the room. I hobble over and attempt to hop on. in a timely fashion, Jesse walks in. I insist that im fine and she helps me out with the crutches. Aelita then walks in and insists that I should stay in bed. I continue to insist that im fine and soon I am able to make it out into the courtyard on crutches.

Outside we stop at the vending machine to grab some soda's and talk for a bit. Jesse asks how I plan to get around like this with my books and I explain that Kalani would probably be able to help but she would probably go spastic on me for leaving without permission. Warton arrives, we chat some more. Again, in timely fashion, Kalani arrives right on cue. She doesnt realize right away that I left on my own. All she knows is im feeling better, im out, and on crutches. For all she knows Yolonda gave me permission.

Then out of nowhere Yolonda appears and starts chewing me out for getting out of bed. I keep trying to explain to her that I just needed to get some fresh air and that it was boring as heck in the infirmary. I try every excuse to stay out of there. Eventually she wins (dont they always?), I hop back inside and back to bed a little steamed. Jesse stays behind to keep me company while Kalani heads back to her dorm to get a few pillows for me. she brings back 2 purple, soft pillows and a small Saturn (the planet ) shaped pillow. I decide to go back to sleep as to pass the time. Jesse and Kalani leave and there ends the Roleplay for the night.

So wheres my oscar?

There was a slight server issue the other night where the ip address miasdvertently changed although that should be resolved now. make sure you are connecting to lyokomush.com port:4201 . last resort id double check your HOSTS file (C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc) and make sure you dont have a reference for lyokomush.com or slowsilver.net as I ran into this same issue.

Just as a quick check, do a ping to lyokomush.com by going to 'Run', type in 'cmd', hit enter, and then in the command prompt type 'ping lyokomush.com' and let me know what ip it gives. this is what I get with the ip of the server bolded. yours should be the same:

Vchat, that stuff with using 'Run' and typing 'cmd' didn't work. It din't even go to anything.

Start Menu > Run >type in "cmd" without the quotes and hit enter. Of course this is assuming you are using a modern OS like 2000 or xp. windows 98 has to use "command.com" instead.

I keep trying to create a character...but it keeps saying "Either there is a player with that name, or it is illegal." I tried Calda after a character I made for a fanfic, and apparently some people have the same imagination as mine -.-; But I've tried a lot of names...

Don't include the <>'s when you're creating a character. That's probably your problem ^^
