Remember the very episode that started everything that led us to what we are today? I still do...

A giant teddy bear... Sissi and Yumi showing some skin... a beauty contest (Sissi won, I guess... the house wins, lol)... Ulrich and Yumi hugging before the RTTP... I still like that episode...

Though a few things were different, I didn't mind them at all. CL's series premiere was indeed, a great one. ^_^

Actually, this episode nearly killed my love of CL before it even started - lots of teddy footage was used in the UK ads and that sort of led me to assume this was a kids show. Thank God I watched it one day!

I was really surprised when I found out this was the first episode xD; But oh well. Oh, and I LOVED Yumi's outfit for the dance </s>I love it so much, that it's in fact in my Yumi lineup for Otakon...</s>

Sissi was voiced by Christine Flowers, Odd was voiced by Christophe Caballero.

I haven't seen any Season 1 episode in English... except for the little sample of BBB-Dance...

Pfeh. Not one of my best plans, compared to the ones I have in store for you humans. Of course, it was quite fun destroying things. If only that plan had involved cannons. I quite like cannons.

He didn't have any time to change. He was helping to set up for the dance when Yumi left to get ready. Afterwards, XANA attacked and he had to run to go find her and warn her. He didn't have any time to change into something for the dance like Yumi did.

I personally disagree with Jim saying he looked sloppy though...He didn't look terrible...just sort of informal. Although I suppose in reality he would also be sweaty and slightly scuffed from running away from the bear, so maybe Jim had a point. ^^;

Jim and Mr. Delmas' conversation was hilarious. I was laughing so hard when I watched that part.
I also loved Jeremie's line to Odd about the bear "Teddy's getting real angry"

Not a bad first episode, it introduced a good deal of things but left enough things to be wondered about. I like how in the first three episodes you see each one get virtualised in a sucessive order. First Odd, next episode you see Ulrich, and in the third episode you see Yumi finally. It was nice to not have all of them virtualised in the first episode.

It takes me a little while to get used to the voices though. Since there was a slightly different cast for this episode, watching it makes it a little weird.

I have this friend and I showed it to him (it's on my DVD) and he made me pause it on the Sissi and Yumi parts. Weird, and he's only 11.

Definately, Teddygodzilla was one of the best CL episodes from Season 1.

I laughed a bit when I browsed around the Internet seeing how some people didn't liked the skin scenes. But french lifestyle gives Code Lyoko a different touch.

Although, I still wonder since when the team met Aelita before this episode? 3 months after they met her? The prequel should answer this for me.

When I first saw this one (before I knew much about CL) at the end, with the way Ulrich and Yumi were looking at each other, I was like "they'll probably be dating by the third episode". They haven't even kissed! So much for my prediction.

Wonderul first episode to begin something wonderful. I love the bit where we go to the factory for the first time.

But the idea of using a teddy is a bit lame (even with LTT to explain why XANA chose it). Otherwise fantasic ep. Really does capture the characters and situations with shall become familiar with

The two things I remember most vividly about this ep was Yumi and Sissi's outfits. I really dug Yumi's gothic-raver look.
