Falling gently
Rolling silently
Down the edged of my face

Ask me now
But I don’t know why
Why wetness cascades down my cheek

What misery do I possess ?
To cause me sorrow imbedded deep
Thus I wordlessly sit down to weep

As the night presses on

I got another poem done! Yay!...But this one is so sad...(I'm not even sure if this is allowed (seeing as there is implied issues of death if you get my meaning...)...Do you think I should ask a mod first...?)...I don't think I'll post it just yet....But still...Yay! I finally got that poem done and out of my mind.

*WARNING IMPLIED ISSUE OF SUICIDE...*
*2ND NOTE...I AM NOT GOING THROUGH THIS...THIS IS NOT REAL...(for me at least...I'm sorry for others if they are going through this...)...yea...just thought I should clear that up....*

I stare at the blood as it slowly drips down my face.
I see the stars as I’m lying down out here,
I feel the tears running out and down from my eyes.
I hear the wind howl around me,
I feel the ground beneath me, stabbing me.
I see a mirror, and in it…My unworthy life.
I feel a lot of things,
Punches to my nose,
Legs at my stomach
Why must I be cursed like this?
Is it my fault for what my kind has done to you?
Is it my fault that you have these impressions?
Can’t any of you see?
I’m not like my kind…
I try my best to be different
To make a fresh start and hopefully my kind can live a better future.
But this seems hopeless,
None of you can see that.
All you see is what I am…
Not who I am…
It’s not fair.
I’m human too,
My kind is human too.
We make mistakes.
It’s not like your kind is perfect
What makes my kind so different?
Why must I be the target of your bullying?
It’s not right…It’s not fair!
But then again…
Who cares for my opinion…?
You don’t obviously
You never will
I’m just a person here
A person who you hate
It’s not my fault I was born like this
Is it up to me to decide what my face looks like?
And why do I keep up with my life?
Wouldn’t it be better to just end it now?
To be free from this misery and be out of your life?
But I don’t want to…
I have to tell
The one I love
To let him know I love him.
But why should I?
He’ll just look down at me for what I am.
It’s not fair.
You judge me for what I am…Not who I am…
If you didn’t…
Maybe then…My life would still be worth living…
But what are the chances of that?
That you’ll see who I really am
That I’m not the person you think I am.
Maybe I’ll be lucky
That he’ll see not my kind…But me
Maybe I’ll be lucky
That he’ll love me back
But should I take the risk?
Or should I just end my life.
Making my painful way back home
I know what I’m going to do.
I know you people won’t care
But maybe, just maybe the one I love will…

That was really sad. It makes me want to cry, but then a lot of angst poems do. I don’t cry anymore or at least I try not to. Death is such a serious topic. *sighs* Theses poems are just starters I will finish them some time… enjoy.

What is death?
The mark of an ending
Or the start of a new begging

My hart is open now
To the whole world if they’d like
It can be read as a book
Hide under the pillow during the day
And brought out only at night
Or any other way

My body throbs with a pain
Filled with both joy and sorrow

I haven't really been inspired in a long time, but I figured I might share with you something I wrote over a year ago. Being around people who enjoy writing makes me want to share what little bit I actually have. any feedback good or bad is appreciated I will start with two. the first one doesn't have a title, but was done using words on a board that is at a local museum that I volunteer at. disclaimer: anything in here that might offend I apologize for.

Goddess of vision
why is eternity always
a storm after death?
show my rain of love
for her, my sweet
if I must whisper in shadow


Gravestones

In a place not far from me
I tread on hallowed ground
and view the gravestones all around

Upon the slabs of grey
I see all the things that once was
all so cold and dead

and with a hint of dread
I wipe away the dirt from all the years
and come to find my name on each gravestone.




P.S as a note to other people. I liked all the work. some made me sad, and others made me think.

Ok I have two poems tonight one sad one, well let’s just say it is and attempt at a narrative poem.

First of all I don’t want this poem to offend anybody. I wrote this for history from the American perspective.

The British are coming
But now they are gone
The Battle of New Orleans
Has at last been won

We plowed down there force
Killing 2000 of their men
Our once defenseless army
Has made a nation again

The men of the frontier
Have shown the Brits we can fight
With trenches dug deep
They would not stand for defeat

We lost 7 men
All noble and brave
Their loyalty to America
Still runs true

Once again I apologies if this offends you. Here is number two:

Just you sitting here today
Means the world to me
The difference between life and death
The difference between hope and faith
I don’t want you to go… ever
Never to leave me alone
In a world that is so unknown
I want you to stay with me forever
