Well, I said I was going to write some CL fanfiction, and I finally did. Many thanks to FormicaArchonis for his (sorry 'bout that...) input into this. It's Odd-centric, and will get a bit darker as it goes on. The Let's Talk Tech thread might not like this, as it is probably impossible, but that's where constructive criticism comes in. Have at in, and the next part should be up by Friday.

EDIT - I hate ff.n and how they screw up document formatting. A new version is up with the breask in the right places. Hope that alleviates any confusion. And the URL works now...God, how much more could I screw this up?

I'm enjoying it. I've got to admit, I didn't expect the Millie and Tamiya angle at all. This should be interesting....

Odd's confusion (and a sense of confusion in the reader) in the second chapter is done well. We know something's wrong, and we know how it happened, but we're not sure precisely what's going on yet. I like that! It's neat to see Odd so off-balance. He's not usually one to be put in that kind of situation, not that I can recall. (I'm sure someone can correct me if I'm wrong.) Wisecracks are useless when he's confronting an inner fear, a place without an audience to hear his words.

Anyway, I can't wait to see what happens with this. Keep up the good work.

Well, I'm glad someone's commented on the fic/ Third chapter was going to be done today, but now it looks as if Sunday/Monday is more likely, as it's getting lengthy. This also might lead to it wrapping up in part 4, though a short epilogue is a possibility. Please, if you read it, comment on it, or I just won't post here if you don't care.
