Your Photographs!

Postby TB3 » Tue Jan 03, 2006 5:31 pm

Well as many of you know there's a popular BKO thread called 'Show your face!' where we post photos of ourselves.

This thread is similar yet different in that it's open to anyone, with a single rule;

No pictures of people! (unless they are really indistinct or can't be recognized) - everything else is game. buildings, landscapes, vehicles, anything!

So come on you budding photographers - show your art so that we can debate and discuss each other's work!

Here are my first submissions to kick things off!

(I like this picture - the conflict of a man-made structure being reclaimed by nature)

(A momentous occasion in the life of my little car)
http://photobucket.com/albums/c345/Thun ... ing013.jpg

(South Wales - my homeland)
http://photobucket.com/albums/c345/Thun ... 2ea314.jpg

(These waterfalls at Devil's Bridge are amazing - for a scale comparison the building in the trees is three storeys!)
http://photobucket.com/albums/c345/Thun ... dge016.jpg

Well, that's me - I hope you like these pics and I look forward to seeing your own masterpieces soon! :)

What a great thread idea!

Telephone poll outside my house. (No stealie, please.)

I didn't use any image enhancements on this. The sky really was that amazing shade of blue that day... (God, I miss summer. T_T)

That is a fantastic sky - you only get that rarely around here - mostly on cold winter days when the air is sharp enough to draw blood!

Well, I have this taken on a class trip to Pittsburg back in 2003. And the thing in the sky is a bird, not a spot on the picture, hehe. ^_^

in September, there was a fantastic storm that came in around sunset. I put the pictures in my LJ in a public post and that can be found here. The colors in the sky were breathtaking.

Beyond that, most of my pictures are of me and my friends. :)

As the remains of one of the hurricanes of 2005 passed us, I took some photos. (NOTE: Tree looks blurry because of crappy camera, and strong winds.)

Sword...Oh yeah, baby! (Ignore the pale arm.)

Lesee...

A sky....:D (From my grandparent's/dad's house)

Me unwrapping a mysterious package. (On my PS2...)

In 2005, we were the first people in our store to get the 6th Harry Potter book.

Just one.

I'd like to thank everyone for posting their beautiful pictures, and I'd like to add another blog of my own.

VALLEY WALK
TL, Dad and myself took a walk two weeks ago and I took some pictures along the way to capture the tone and scenery in the valley. These one was the best. As you can see, the 'footpath' we were using was very unusual.

http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c345/Thunderbird3/Family-Panto2006003.jpg

DOOM!
Many of you might be familiar with my 'Tunnel of Doom!' from BKO - here's a piccie I took looking into another interesting one - in WW2 airplanes would try to bounce bombs through this tunnel in preparation for the Dambusters Raid!

http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c345/Thunderbird3/Rhys-Maenclochog001.jpg

LANCASTER AND ENVIRONS
I had to get off campus for a walk yesterday and took these pictures along the way - the weather was wonderfully stll and clear and the setting (the Lancaster Canal) was great. Also includes a view of MY LAIR! BWAHAHA!

Well I hope that hasn't bored you witless - see you all soon! :hello:

Heh... nice pictures! I love the one of the river-- it looks like there are trees coming from both ends.

I've always wanted to take a picture of my room (considering all the asdlkjfksdf work we did on it :whatever:) but, alas, no camera.

Well i have more photo's so here they are.....

Inside the tank(at my collage) i was getting a ride from my friend austin and the story behind the "tank" is that it's been in his family since his dad got it(he was 20 when he got it) and it's been to both the west and east coast...and still running! to this day!!!! (( and that's my foot ))

http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c143/ ... 0_0178.jpg

Gym floor: this was a shot i took with the exposure level really high( the legs are that of austin's)

http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c143/ ... 0_0301.jpg

I went to vist some of my old teacher's at the middle school i went to, Mr.ortay's room if you were wondering( in B&W)

Woah...

That reminds me, I'm gonna get some pictures of my calsrooms. I swear, the Science room is almost EXACTLY like the one in CL!
And I'm in Odd's seat...
But our Mrs. Hertz is the English teacher.
