Legal movie sharing in France?

I am not at all a lawyer, but as far as I can tell, this means that French people could legally share over the Internet episodes that they got legally, say, by buying a DVD... to other French people, I guess... not sure, really. Just thought it might be interesting.

It came by default (I think, not sure) in GMail's Web Clips, and I was all too happy to leave it on. Or else it was one of the built-in options and I was all to happy to turn it on. Either way, Web Clips helped me actually keep track of what is posted on Slashdot.

But about that article, are you KIDDING ME? Banning all the crap is one thing, but you're saying that people will not be allowed to license their stuff freely? Are they allowed to public-domain it? How do you define the difference between sharing code in a software development team vs. sharing code to anyone? You could always just define a "team" consisting of anyone who wants to be in it.
