What do you think will happen after you die?

Lots of people believe different things. Like you will have an afterlife. You will just die. You will go to Heaven or Hell.

So... my question. What do you believe?

So, I believe that we are just souls with a body; this is not an uncommon belief, but hear me out. I think that our body is fit to get us around in this world, and it restrains us in more ways than one. But I think when we die, we break away from that and as a result we reach a higher level of consciousness.

I don't know what that is, but personally I think it's whatever we want it to be and believe in. Our minds only stretch as far as we let it.

Personally, I'm spiritual, not religious. Not to offend anyone but I honestly think religion is horrible. Most of the time it causes segregation, discrimination, wars.. terrorist attacks.. conflicts.. everything, which is quite ironic. I believe in God but the way that most religious groups "worship" him and the way they twist things around is quite upsetting (again, don't want to offend anyone).

And also.. I do not understand the concept of Hell. If God loves you, why would he send you there?

To be perfectly honest, I believe in reincarnation, such as what happened in the movie Fluke. I believe that we will keep coming back, whether or not as a human, with all our memories erased. I believe in Heaven and Hell, but I believe that you can only get there if you're extremely good or bad. Reincarnation is what happens to those in the middle.

It seems a lot more interesting than going to Heaven or Hell--even if living stinks majorly. So yeah, I guess. I think it'd be fun to be a dog or dolphin or something.

A thought that my mother has had before (she's even more spiritual than me, reading books about it and stuff) is that you keep getting reincarnated until you really "get it," as in understand and accomplish everything you were meant to in life. So, for example, depressed people and others that just really never understand half the good things about life would be reincarnated until they truly understand it and learn what they were meant to. Everyone else, I assume, would go to Heaven or wherever else it is our spirits go when they leave our bodies.

I don't think anyone goes to Hell. The idea of people being sent there pretty much destroys the ideal concept of God, which is unconditionally loving and forgiving.

I don't know what i believe in but i do think bout what type of death will happen to me, but that happens when i'm at funerals or my mind goes to a blank. But yeah i wouldn't want to think about it.

What I think what happens is that when a person dies, they can now control their spirit and do whatever they want to do. I would just go around and watch T.V while someone else was watching it.

"There was once this Angel in heaven named Lucifer. He was head of all the angels. He got jealous of god, and started to want to be like him. Making other angels agree with him. They did bad stuffs. So god sent them to a place of DOOM (heh, sorry) which is called hell. The angels that agreed with Lucifer were his demon minions... things."
