I'M REALLY REALLY REALLY TO THE 4th POWER sorry I havn't been here. But don't worry, Iread all the posts I havn't been here for. I was thinking of starting a whole new forum on a different web provider but I don't think it would work.

I think starting a whole new forum here would be great, but it might kinda mess up the balance the whole forum has in the PHP programming, I don't know, I havn't seen it. Depending on how dreamhost works, it could take Erynn from a day to a month to start a new forum, it could simply be clicking "add new forum" and then all the little extras, or it could be a whole thing of programming new PHP codes and then uploading it to her server, which could take a LONG time. It could slightly mess up the down time too.

To Starway

Project XANADU is a concept conceived by JeremyHopper with the goal of creating a virtual simulation of Lyoko rather than a video game.

I'm starting to think this whole project would be good if we start out with a simple lyoko simulation, then add the AI's such as aelita adn XANA (no, it's not as hard as it seems to make artificial intelligence just a lot of time) and then maybe it would progress into a video game. I've been thinking it would really be cool as a video game.

If you are talking different threads, I'm thinking that we ask Starway to add a specific "Project: XANADU" forum, lock it from people not involved in the project, sticky threads named "Manager talk" "Programmers' discussion" "Research Department" and the such, and make usergroups for them too.

Again, I think this would be a good idea as long as Star Way has time.

Until however JeremyHopper gets back and gives some feedback on our ideas, we're pretty much on-hold. It's his baby and to make arrangements without his consultation would be exceptionally rude of us.

If I remember correctly, I was going to be a beta tester. But I need a manual to learn how to download the stuff. And sorry if I haven't been posting much, but I really have very short time... besides, I would recomend you to host this thing at Big Kids Only (privacy issues, and to avoid taht some other steals your idea and performs it before you accomplish your goal), with all those who are seriously involved in it.

-You must be at least 13 years old to gain access to Big Kids Only (there's too many explicit content, that's why we keep it safe from children).
-You must have at least 30 posts and being registered at least for 7 days or more.
-You mst post your age at your newbie thread and other stuff from yourself.

All that done, you must send a Pm to Star Way and she'll decide if you can enter BKO or not yet.

That's exactly why I don't want to move this to the big kids forum. I think I should start a whole new forum on the net for this, but what do you guys think? 'Cause I don't want any of our research to be stolen, but, after this is all completed I think it might be a good idea to realease source code.

Okay genius, but that doesn't always work. if you click on the tab at the top that says usergroups, then view information or something like that, it says they are currently not admitting anyone new.
And yet I can tell other poeple are being atmitted in!

And there are people I just met getting admitted in very quickly.

I have worked on this for a while now and have thought of ways to do this but as the past attempts have this one too, I fear will fade. It isn't very hard to do but will be more then a few undedicated teenagers can handle. You will need to structure this right and play your card well to get anywhere with it.

On the other hand, another project I have been working on is making a 3D model of Kadic Academy. I already have a capable engine and a partial map that I have made to get this done.

The real question is what are your true goals.

What have you said in this post...

1) That you want make a Lyoko, which I knew already but was not specific enough to be replied to.
2) Indirectly asked me to join

So I would have to say the most replyable would have to be point 2. Of this I say I still have not decided and I would discuss it. Hence my asking if TB3 was able to discuss it with me being that he is a assistant manager and should have a good view of how this project is actually operated.
