I was thinking more along the line of.... If it works one way, than it should work the other way. (thinks about an army of mega tanks rolling down the streat.)

I'm telling you, you're sucking this right out of my fanfic. @.@

IF it's possible, then yes, I can totally see that happening.

Yeah, and when we have the essay done (whenever that'll be @.@) we can have all the jargon terms link to where they're mentioned in there!

That probably works. Let me try and include that in my explanation of Image Problem.

I'm probably yielding the explanation of Big Bug to TB3. Its more encompassing of the situation then my theory, more consistent of the circumstances, and he seems a greater expert on trains than I am. Think I can take the next 2. Image Problem is a bit of a confusing one and may cause some debate after I finish writing it, but End of Take is fairly straightforward. Though Ghost Channel will probably be the longest one since it was the episode with the greatest debate on it, encompassing anomolies in both virtualization, RTTP, and how the system itself operated.

EPISODE 7: IMAGE PROBLEM

In this episode, Xana used for the first time, a Guardian. A Guardian is a monster designed to a specific player's virtual packet. It is than used to seek out, engulf, and imprison whoever it was designed to hold. A Guardian is basically a firewall with a minor AI in charge. The firewall basically surrounds the avatar and blocks incoming or outgoing data - basically freezing the program at the same time and hiding it from the console. It can be defeated by creating a virtual replica of the person its holding, confusing it and causing the Guardian to engulf the replica. The replica, either through being innately harmful or through overloading the Guardian since it is designed only for 1 prisoner, destroys it.

As for Xana's actual attack on Earth, Xana forced a devirtualization command and fed in a false Yumi file to be materialized on Earth (possibly through a scanner infected by Xana), but still with connection to Xana. Once there, the false Yumi was made to coerce the gang into Lyoko using basic information it has gathered on human interaction and after which, she would destroy the scanners, thus disabling them from exiting Lyoko (and possibly making devirtualization fatal). This is Xana's first attack that used materializaton as an attack. This is attempted multiple times in False Start and A Bad Turn.

EPISODE 8: END OF TAKE

Xana used his spectre to infect a plastic alien model that had the ability to exhale a sticky gelatinous goop. This form of attack is similar in method to the infected teddy bear in Teddygozilla, by using the routers to control the alien's movement. Using the routers, he was also able to improve upon its ability to shoot the goop by altering its chemical form to make it more adhesive. After doing so, he was able to replicate the chemical after expelling it, so that it may continue firing, using a similar method to what was used in Holiday in the Fog. On Lyoko, XANA used his control of Lyoko landscape to create a fake second tower as a way to slow down Aelita from deactivating the tower.

How's that?

You might want to include that while hacking the cellular antenna, he sent out a signal to all mobile phones within a nearby area which made all active mobiles go off. This could either be intentional or an extra beneficial consequence from hacking the mobile-phone network. It did gain the benefit of momentarily keeping the gang out of contact with each other when the teachers confiscated them, though Xana didn't count on Odd going to steal back his & the others' mobiles.

Also could include the electrical feed back Xana used on Jim when someone intended to disconnect the network while he was still in the process of hacking into the military satellite.

But still, a nice summary.

Episode 10, The Girl of the Dreams is next. And that should finish up what most of us consider "Pick on Yumi" Week. Also, Satellite was episode 9 according to Tv.com and wikipedia. We are slightly over 1/3 of the way through season 1 and should be through by Monday at this rate, maybe Sunday if we work at it.

Wasn't it Principal Delmas who was trying to dismantle the antenna? Well, I could be wrong... ((The only thing I have to bring up about the summary is that... you spelled Satellite wrong. -___-; ))

EDIT: Darn, I forgot I posted that a while ago. Nice jobs with the summaries, guys! (I'll help soon! I promise! ^-^; )

It was Jim who tried the disconnect the antaenna, but was under the direction of Principal Delmas. Its the reason why Jim was taken to the infirmary after his experience and why Principal Delmas was still standing to punish Yumi for bring a dog on campus (Kiwi).

Anyways, on to the next episode.

EPISODE 11: PLAGUED

This is Xana's first attack using reproduction of infection to be spread to others. In this episode, Xana infects a single rat with his spectre. Following the first infection, the routers were reproduced and spread like an infection to other rats by bites and scratches. Once the routers have entered the rats, they gain control of the rats in the same process as the alpha rat, placing it under Xana's influence, though in a more limited manner. Once a sizeable army is created, he than used the army to attack the school during night time. Because Xana's influence on the rats were still limited, they still maintained certain psycological and physiological characteristics, mainly their fear of light, which was exploited by Jeremie. The attack is used again in Swarming Attack and in Attack of the Zombies

Wikified. Once these are all done, someone really needs to go through with a spellchecker. Using of XANA vs. Xana is inconsistent (since more than one person is submitting summaries)... misspellings as said... etc.

new slightly random question:

Could XANA swich bodys with one of the gang? Would the "Fine Mess" problem show up? Is it posebel that prolonged exposer(sp) to a virus would make it permenent(sp)?

If it hasent been covered, I have two posebiletys for the "Fine Mess" problem.

EPISODE SIX: CRUEL DILEMMA
Via a freak occurance Odd manages to complete Aelita's Materialization Program - candy dropped on the keyboard fills in a block of data which Jeremie had been unsucessfully wrangling over. However, since Jeremie did not witness, and has no record of 'Odd's' keystrokes, the program can only be used once.

Umm... I was just puzzling (sorry so late, just got 'activated'), but if you've ever used Command Prompt or Konsole (dunno Mac version) that it is all recorded and viewable at a later time until the window is closed? So why can't Jeremy just write it all down and use it later?
If 'poly' means many, and 'tics' are blood-sucking insects, then what are 'politics'?

See my Command & Conquer thread. C&C PWNS ALL!!!

TB3 wrote:We came to the conclusion that the 'Fine Mess' problem was literally what Jeremie said it was, a bug in the program that just chose that time to surface.

Our theory is that this bug caused an exchange of either Yumi and Odd's v.DNA packets or Conciousness files. Which, we're not sure, as they'd have the same noticable effect.

But if you have your own theory feel free to throw it our way. :)

Actualy, that is my theory, exept that XANA was trying to tweek the program and made a mistake...

...And then locked the inhibetors on jeremy so that they would have to take Aileta to sector 5.

With long term possession:
A) Slowly kills the person.
B) Causes permenet possession.
C) Links person to XANA permenetly.
D) Long-term memory loss.

Can some one prove/disprove any of these?

Maybe the screen was 'cleared', maybe it accidentally 'X'-ed out of his terminal session, maybe there was a password... I don't know.
