WE still haven't seen any of his visions yet... Are they going to make him a new power or something?

Thats what I've been saying (not on here...just to myself). Were the h*ll are his pre-vision things?

I find it really strange he hasn't had one yet this season. He had at least four in Season 1, all in and before Laughing Fit (and possibly more, but I can't remember as I only watched each Season 1 episode once before it got the 10 P.M. slot).

WHY do you all suggest Odd's shield is weak? Just because he only holds it in one spot? Ulrich and Yumi get busted up if their weapon isn't in the right spot, Odd just doesn't bother to move it... I haven't seen Yumi block a Megatank, and I think if anyone, she should have trouble with those fans. At least as much as Odd would have with a shield.

I share Max Gene's sentiment, thought I can't quite recall a time when Yumi has used her fans to actually block a megatank blast. Really, at this time, there currently no evidence to state for certain that Odd can't block a megatank blast. His shields ineffectiveness comes from the fact thats immobile and has limited coverage. All times he has been killed off while using the shield has come because he was hit on a part of his body not covered, dropping his shield, then hit on his now exposed body. This actually leads credit to the shield being concentration based. Not one time has there been occurrence where he actually was killed off, because a laser hit him directly in the shield. And nobody actually expects Odd to hold off a blast indefinately, but I would think the pro-Odd's shield group are thinking he can hold off for a little while, a few seconds at the least.

If anything I bet his shield is stronger being immobile. Just because you're not used to the idea of Odd having one... maybe he can move it, he just hasn't had time to practice like Yumi and Ulrich had, with blocking.

Still, I wish he could use his psychic visions more often. They could make it more useful by having it be similar to Spiderman's spider sense. It would allow him to sense danger much easier and freely, but without the major hinderance of being flat-footed and unaware.

Think about it, in episode #50(Contact) Ulrich's twig sized sword holds off a megatanks blast, so logic tells you that odd's shield can hold it off. It still bothers me tho, i know that twig has been used as a shield to block attacks but i really dont think its stronger than shield...

Also, you have to remember Odd's other enhancement. In New Order, Jeremie reloaded his arrows to 10,000. That pretty much ensures he'll never run out of arrows again. And I like Spiderman, 2nd favorite Marvel superhero. And Odd's senses would definately be better if it worked like his.

Can anyone here please give me a picture of Odd's shield? And since when he uses it?

I've never seen Odd's shield work for a significant period of time, and it only protects a small part of his body, so I don't think it would have anything more than a small effect.

That's obvious. In the end, I doubt anybody expects Odd to come out on top. But we do expect him to atleast put up a fight like Ulrich does.

I remember that. I was like, "OMFG why didn't they give him 10,000 before!"

He did run out of arrows another time... I think.

Can't remember a time he ever ran out of arrows after New Order, except in Franz Hopper, but thats because Franz turned off all their weapons. He made a lock and loading sound in St. Valentines Day as he was firing off his last shots when Aelita hit 10 life pts., but that could just be erring on the side of caution, in case the Schyphozoa did let go.

10,000 arrows should last for a long time. Jeremie should make Aelita a weapon. >_< Also make odd have an infinite amount of Lazer Arrows. ^^

With regard to animenologist.

That actually raises the question of if Odd can change his um...hand-setting from automatic to semi-automatic to single-firing - Sometimes he's fired off multiple blasts like a machine gun, other times he just points his hand and shoots, and sometimes he puts one hand on top of the other and visibly pulls it back in a breach-loading motion, complete with the sound effect.

That makes sense. On the episode, "St. Valentines Day" he fired it like a machine gun.

He just fires off his arrows at different rates of fire, depending on how accurate he needs to be. Cruel Dillemma is a good example. In that episode, he went against 5 roachsters. Early on into the battle, it was accuracy by volume. Later on as he was running low, he fired off one at a time, trying to make his shots count.

Since he has to focus to shoot his laser arrow, he might not be able to shoot so many at once.
