How weird a year was it?

Here's how weird:

O.J. actually got convicted of something.
Gasoline hit $4 a gallon — and those were the good times.
On several occasions, Saturday Night Live was funny.
There were a few days there in October when you could not completely rule out the possibility that the next Treasury Secretary would be Joe the Plumber.
Finally, and most weirdly, for the first time in history, the voters elected a president who — despite the skeptics who said such a thing would never happen in the United States — was neither a Bush NOR a Clinton.
(yeah, the cool links in my old sig died. :( A few nerdy newish projects are here. )

2008 was a spectacular year.
A well-known man finally has moved into a government building.
We all know who that is...
That's right!

Seconded to that. Although the murders surrounding it were really sad. :(

The best thing was Obama getting elected.

The worst thing was Wall-E. My word, how I loathe Wall-E.

Kung Fu Panda ftw. :D

Code lyoko is real. The proof is in hidden codes, phrases, the songs played backwards, and even odd's smelly feet prove lyoko's existence.

If you think im lieing i'll get xana to posses your teddy bear.

your answer to one of the 2 following questions is extremely important.

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?

Code: Aelita, Earth, Xana, Aelita Scheaffer, Acceptence?

that was amazing how they had that guy fly around the stadium and all the video clips started playing from the scroll.

Yes it was, amazing what technology can do now and what advances have been made... I remember the first Narnia films, and Starwars films and how they had to use puppets and people in costumes... Now they can make cg characters and mass battle scenes all in the computer... Technology has come a very long way..

I loved the Tai Chi, Drummers, Light People, and that globe with people running around...
