im better with either Marht or Roy, depending on who I fight. I just love their uppercut move. *imagines the jumping blades of doom*

Well, yes, it will come out on February 10. The main site confirms it.
Second off, you have a choice between using the wiimote one way, a second way, the retro controler, or the gamecube controller as a way to controll your character.

So when does it [brawl] come out? I read sometime in February on Wikipedia, but we all know that's not reliable.

I'm a pro at this game. I can't wait for the new one. I am good with Link, Young link, Samus and Ganon. I can play as just about any character though.

Based on the "What are you playing" thread, Brawl is out.
I don't have it, but I think it'd be cool if some people on this board who has played it could provide some feedback, if it's not too much trouble.

Dedede is a joke. He's very unwieldy and annoying to try to hit with
Snake is also slow, but he's pretty good from a distance. His smash attacks bite though...
Lucario is a better Mewtwo.
Game and Watch got an upgrade.
R.O.B is pretty much a joke character.
Haven't got Sonic yet.
Kirby got nerfed.
The stages are more gimmicky.
The new items are ccol, and the assist trophies work well. Pokeballs still return, but in a less exclusive roll.

So I went over to my brother's friend's house and played Brawl on it. It was pretty fun, but being new at the game, and playing with people who got a chance to enter a tournament in mid-February made it rather difficult to do good.
My favorite character is Meta Knight, but since he's slow, and new, it's nearly impossible for me to move quickly with him. I still am relatively good with Fox, but I haven't played in a while so my "skills" are rusty.
I really suck at getting the final smashes.
I think that the new items are a bit over the edge. Some of them are insanely overpowered that disable the ability to dodge the blasts with skill, and you survive if you get lucky.
I need a Wii. Hopefully, I can get one in the near future, and I can install online gameplay as play a bit more to sharpen my skills.

More li'l tidbits.
Olimar is...quite good actually.
Ike beats Roy.
The stage builder is quite limited in complexity.
The cutscenes are made of win. And cheerios.
Snake's Finall Smash is AWESOME.

Then remember to capitalize on the grenades. you can throw them in three differing trajecories. I can't remember the button presses because I personally stink at Snake. I need my Smash Attacks.

That's a taunt, actually....
Snake has no smash attacks, but he has a Remote Controlled Launcher (his Side-B move) instead. He's pretty slow, but if you know what your doing with him, he's pretty good.

So I played again with my brother's friends.
I used Meta Knight a fair amount, and I'm getting a little better with him. I actually managed to successfully dodge a certain amount of attacks, and I managed to successfully hit two people the two different times I got his final smash.
I really hope I can get a Wii soon and install online gameplay.

i was suprised to see how good ness was this time. in melee he wasnt as good but in brawl hes just as good as he was in the first one. plus sonics just crazy to play as...

Don't have the game yet, but I did get a chance to play it at a friends house. I played as Zelda (main from Melee) and I'm very happy with what I got to play. Used the Wii-mote and Nunchuk, personally I prefer the gamecube controller. I'm playing it agian at a friends party today too.
Hopefully I'll get this game Monday night. If I do I'll put my friend code up.

Fox has always been my best character since the release of Super Smash Brothers for the Nintendo 64. However, I have grown to like Toon Link with the release of Brawl. So I'll say it's a tie between Fox & Toon Link.

I wish I had this game! I've loved the Smash series ever since the first game, but unfortunantly, I don't have a Wii, and none of my friends has one either. *sighs* Well, if I do ever get one, this'll definitely be on my buy list! (Side by side with the new Mario Kart when it comes out xD)
Jayde (the creator of this thread) doesn't go here anymore, so the mods or admins will have to do it.

Sonic has been my alternate main to Snake. The only negatives I feel with him is a lack of a "go home" finisher and his lack of good special moves.... ohhh can't beat that speed though
