He simply used it as a sort of puppet. A very attractive puppet, too.

But when he had seen William, he not only respected, but coveted him. His looks alone were enough to get him quite a bit of attention, he had strength, and his charisma and influence could be easily replicated.

Hmmm. Do I detect that XANA might possibly... er... oh I'll be blunt. My gaydar (which really sucks, so I don't pay much attention to it, and you shouldn't either) is really going off here. Is XANA... uh... you get the picture. Or is it one of those comletely heterosexual man-crush things?

Or it could be a completely platonic relationship where XANA is simply complimenting William and means nothing by it. What do I know.

OR it could be your attraction to William revaling itself through your writing, huh Carth? I can't blame you.

Also, I loved the part with the Krankrelat. I always pictured them as being annoying little hyperactive things if they could talk. I, too, like the way you write, Carth... I can't describe it, but it's better than my emotionless "Use too many details to describe everything from third-person while throwing in a little conversation to bring life to it" style. Much better.

It's a useful little trick to copy your post, delete it, and then repost it with whatever edit you have. I've seen it used before.

On another note...yes, the chapter has been short in coming. But I have been working on it, in fact, i'm working on it right now. I just had a very small case of writer's block, but I'm over it. It probably won't be up today, but count on it within the next two or three days.

Oh, and not to poke Mew, but do you like the story? *totally poking Mew*

This fanfiction is very good. I like it how you develop Jeremy and Aelita and how XANA is more of a child.
