S4 Episode 10: Hot Shower

After almost two weeks without a new episode, Hot Shower will air tomorrow. As many CL fans worldwide, I'm looking forward to it.

Regardless of the fact that most of the CL fans enjoyed the last two episodes, I wasn't too fond of them. And I'm actually hoping that Hot Shower will be a good episode in my eyes. The title itself sounds like it will be a filler episode. But I still got my hopes for watching a good episode.

*blinks* The more I watch the bumper ad for this episode the more I wonder if CN didn't pull a slight episode switch-a-roo on us. ^^;

As in the plot points that I heard "Don't Jump, Yumi" was supposed to have, do not seem to be matching the scenes shown in the "teaser" ad.

...Granted nothing will be for sure until the episode airs (and it wouldn't be the first time CN's done something like that too... ie. airing "Temptation" out of order in season 2 )...

But something's fishy here... (...and it isn't the digital sea ;D ).

Just saw the Commercial. It seems Xana's pulling a The Chip Are Down-esque attack. I think he's running out of ideas.

I'll watch it again when it gets hanged on Youtube and then I'll give a more accurate comment. This could easily get an 8/10 in my books because it's a pretty good episode.

I'm really starting to wonder why XANA wants Aelita. I thought it was because only she could deactivate the towers, but after seeing this I'm not so sure.

I'm going to rewatch this one.

Ehh... I'm glad they didn't made William job in this episode and Yumi's still my favourite CL characther. The jokes didn't sound corny this time, some of them were funny.

The April Fool's line sucked, really.

An Excellent ep, in my opinion. 9/10. The overstressed newswoman was the only flaw on this gem.

^^; ...Well, I believe they've pulled an episode "Switch-Around" since this is definitely not the plot that "Don't Jump, Yumi" was supposed to have...however, "Lost At Sea" might be said episode so at least it's only a two-week wait. (As opposed to however long the wait was for "Temptation" *sweatdrops* ).


*blinks and coughs* Ahem...anyway, onto the on-topic part of my post...

Definitely not a bad episode (albeit not the one I was looking forward too, but that'll come later. ). Nice homages to season 1 and 2 (The Satellite, somebody forcing XANA's hand through Aelita, etc. ), and a rather twisty and exciting plot.

Hiroki and Johnny are hilarious. I honestly half-expected that to be "Pull" door that they open for Yumi (because goodness knows how many times I've tried pushing a "Pull" door) and that they end up tricking Yumi that way, but...eh...maybe they're saving that for later.

No Lyoko Yumi action, but she was really funny real world-wise, particularly the complaints about getting stuck with her brother, and her brother's best friend who has a severe crush on her. xD (Johnny's "Can I be on Yumi's team?" line was great. ) and I loved her "Thank you, XANA," line. ...Have you thanked your local XANA today? X)

Oh and Hiroki's, "Did you have another fight with Ulrich or something?" line was priceless (as was Yumi's reaction). *snerk*

Earth should be purple.

I honestly thought the newscaster was funny...in that ironic, "Yeah, that's totally what would happen," way. ^^; Personally, I think the government would try to cover up the possibility of a meteor destroying an area (or the entire earth at worst), in order to avoid mass panic and chaos so...

Jeremie's responses to the newscaster were funny too. *snickers*

Incidentally, I am totally switching to the KIWI browser...just tell me where to download it and I'm there.

And whatever Firewall XANA uses...because, that was just plain awesome. ;D

It's good to see them bringing back the "What will those crazy Kankrelats do next?" bits from season 2. I love those monsters. Watching that one run scared and then later try to sneak attack Odd (Through the knees = 10 points! ) was adorable and really funny. X)

Haha...William...the way they animate him makes me crack up everytime. I mean, he's an awesome villain (and rather scary at times) but some of the expressions he pulls are just too hilarious. Aelita too for that matter. (Odd's a given, but yeah.)

And poor Ulrich for really getting himself nailed again...that sounded like it hurt quite a bit. xD;

Speaking of nailed...poor Jim as well. ^^; Mrs. Hertz was awesome in this though. (Way to get Mr. Delmas to see some reason. *woots* )

...And Yumi's closing line pretty much sums up every big sister's worst nightmare.

All in all definitely a good episode and highly entertaining. I do wonder what that little blip was that they found out in the Digital Sea...too bad they didn't get to explore more but I suppose they're saving that for later. ^.^

That would depend on the one who views the show. I think Code Lyoko has its up and downs. No show is perfect after all. This episode was a huge upgrade from Replika and IRNTAI.
