Che, old geezer.

I really don't mean to be disrespectful, but the interet is still a tool. Saying he doesn't like it isn't really going to do anything except make people go on it more to listen to him whine about it, then throw flamers. I really wish he'd understand that yes, with the internet, you can create music. But it develops bonds through that music around the world that were not possible in his age. The only thing that never changes is change, because it always happens. Oftentimes the only thing you can depend and rely on is change. But even if you had a wonderful successful career, and there's booming music, then there's gong to be a drop in it for the next few generations. And just becuase the music isn't his style or in his opinion good, well, tha's fine. The music isn't geared towards his generation. It's for a younger one.
I suspect this may have something to do with his internet database attempts not getting waves of new fans, lke it would've a decade ago. He just missed the wave, that's all. There'll be more.

I agree with you there... I don't know what I would do if I didn't have aim, all of my friends are on there.... If I didn't have it I would not have any friends and be very lonely indeed ;__;

Not to mention the glaring impossibility of it all.

Honestly, I'm having problems believing this to be completely real.

It's Elton John. What more evidence do you need? The man loves to toot his own horn. Didn't he flame a whole country a while back?

Yep....

The funny part is the stupidity it all. You hook two computer up, and HEY! You gotz t3h int3rn3t! There's no main switch, there's millions and millions and billions of servers linked up around the world.

It's like that guy who says that walking damages the planet more than driving, so we should all become fat and lazy to save the world.

Or that guy who said Global warming caused the Minnesotan bridge to collapse because it wasn't built to withstand the two slightly higher-temp summers they had. Well, that's nice,, but can ypou prove that it was global warming that raised the temperature?

Elton John just gave me a great idea. He still is an idiot for saying that the Internet should get shut down, but he just gave me some extra material to work with...

Does that mean a new chapter is coming down the pipeline soon? *hops up and down in anticipation*

It's all very scientifical. |D
