I have a friend living there right now because he's participating in the JET program. I would suggest doing something like that before moving there permanetly based on things you've 'heard'. He's told me that Japan is a really xenophobic place. But he's a very open guy who is super crazy, aloof, and almost invincible (lol).


Nobody comes to America for legal protection unless they are refugees or something. Legal protection is not something I'm worried about.
I agree with you. Hopefully one day the world can build on that! Although you know a great deal on that, your classmates, the one who tease you, probably don't get that.... actually, a lot of people don't understand Communism because all they have lived in (and will probbably only live in) a Democratic society all their lives.
