School sucks SO hard...

Ugh, man, school sucks. I hate it there. I'm picked on by bullies, my grades are bad, and I SWEAR that my teachers one true joy in life is making me miserable. And I just don't have any more motivation going there. And sure, of course I want to go to college, and of course I want to be a success and have a decent job, but I just can't take it anymore... On occasion, I just skip school, and do something actually worthwhile, like studying Easter Island Heads (don't ask.) Mercifully, summer vacation is nearly here, but it's only 3 months, and then I'll be back.



And PLEASE... Don't tell me to suck it up and move on, or lecture me not to play hookie. Plenty of people (mostly my friends) have told me that already...

My advice is find something you enjoy doing such as writing, listening to music or, drawing and use it to escape...This is known as creative escapism...I was very much like you when I was in school, only I was a geek I had braces, glasses, and I was a book worm...So I started writing fanfiction about anything and everything. I created a world where there were no bullies a world very much like Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter or Narnia actually it was a combonation of the three... That is how I surrvived...You should try it... And I am here if you need a friend or need to talk...

hey at least you have friends, right? Try working on your grades over summer vacation. Like I'm going to work my butt off training for soccer season so I'll hopefully make the team. AND softball but that's like litterally in a year. Do you have any dances comming up? Try to chill out with your friends there, to relax!

I finnal gave up on everything at school School started to get hard on me i was gettin in truble for no reason,The teachers wouldnt beleve anything i told tham even Whan i said my dog ate my home work.(But it really did dude.)

Im glad its summertime now tho.No more mean old teachers.

OH I totally know how you feel! Thats kinda how it is with me. But theres really nothing I can do about it. School just got out and I'm already dreading high school which starts in a few months...I don't really know what keeps me going either...but I just tell myself that school doesnt last forever...

Even though my school sucks as bad as yours, and I sincerely think that it only exists to make obedient little sheep out of us, I do believe it serves a purpose. And the purpose is to help us understand, through interaction with other people there, a little bit more about life and why it's important not to sacrifice any part of your character or personality while growing up. I hate school too, but I've found that it's useful if you join a club where you can make friends that have the same interests as you. My school even has an anime club, and I've been having a hell of a time. Finding friends with your same interests isn't as hard as it seems, and it really is the best antidote to stress.

Just find refuge in Code Lyoko. That's what I do. Our friends at Kadic help keep my spirits high.

I myself detested school. I never took regular PE, for example. I never went to any typical school events (waste of time and energy in my book), and the teachers treated me like dirt. I was bullied in school too, and no one came to my rescue.

^^; Yeah...Planet Cool, I know you're new but, at least so far as Rant threads are concerned, if it's over two months old, there's not a whole lot of point in posting on it. Easy mistake to make though. *sweatdrops*
