"Naturally. I had to cheat to do it the first time. I spammed Trinity Limit, with limit boost to make it 3 cycles before it ended, and used Elixers between limits. Add in some power boost synth items, and I PWNED him. Of course, I had to go back and do it all over again on Proud mode, playing fair and taking 300 tries to beat him, but I eventually pulled it off. I still have to do it in the first game though."

Not a real cheat, my GameShark stopped working when my brother spilled coke on it and left without cleaning it up.
I just spammed Trinity limit and he never got a chance to fight back.
I've seen a video with that on it! So sweet, he did every drive form and totally PWNED Sephiroth. SO awsome.

I know. Anyway, I found some patch code lists on GameFAQs that could do various things, like have you play as an other worldly character like Jack Skellington, Simba, etc., and where you could have a partner that was supposed to be in one world (The World That Never Was, where Riku's your partner), and have that partner with you in a completely different world (like Hollow Bastion or Twilight Town). Sounds pretty cool, if you ask me. Hmm...I'll have to buy a GameShark or Codebreaker to try that out with.
Anyway...(pulls out bag of chips and watches JeremieCompNerd fight 1000 Heartless.)
