I've actually went through this argument elsewhere before and the way I see it is all the junk CN has added over the past 2 year save for CL (though it really should be an exception. All the other junk shows on CN were made exclusively for CN whereas CL was not) should be nuked altogether. Bring back the good shows to fill those empty timeslots. I wanna see Bugs Bunny and Tom & Jerry make a comeback!

1. Get rid of all shows that aren't Japanese or French except for Xiaolin Showdown.

No way, Jose! I love Ben 10. As for Naruto, yeah it isn't the greatest, and I prefer the Japanese version over the English dub, but I still love to watch it.

This list is starting to look like "shows I don't like so i want them canceld." I mean , come on: I hate Ben 10 and i stilll think they should keep it. it have a rating sistem which i use. anything over a 6.5 stays.

4.5 max Plotline (naruto and Zach bell scored 4.5)
3 for origenality
2.5 for charectors

Well... it's easier to say that they shouldn't get rid of the oldschool cartoons (Bugs Bunny, Pinky & The Brain, Tom&Jerry, Space Ghost: Coast To Coast, etc.) and not get rid of Pokémon... but the deal is that I stopped watching cartoons since 1998-1999. So, basically... all of you, grow up, unless you still enjoy being an eternal child.

CL is something rare... normally, I would ignore it... but I was at one time broke and bored enough to leave the house, so I ended up watching it and weirdly liking it.

Current fandom: WWE (again), football (Champions League, EPL, Bundesliga, Copa Sudamericana, etc.) and I don't know if I still love CL, but it's not the same feeling unlike last year.

I have to agree with Rodri though. CL is really about the only cartoon I watch anymore and even at that it is only the newly aired episodes and just enough for the fanvids I do. Only other cartoons I think I could stand to watch anymore IF they still aired them somewhere accessible is bugs bunny, tom & jerry, and the other old school cartoons. Past that, i dont really watch too much tv anymore. Its really all casual stuff like news, sports, etc..

Actually, I would argue that once one loses their inner child (or loses touch with it), it is a sad thing indeed. And who says that growing up requires that one give up all the things one enjoyed as a kid (including cartoons)?

I have never seen anything wrong or childish about watching cartoons. Cartoons were originally created for adults to view. The old classic characters like Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny, and the like. Most of those were created for adult viewing (because kids weren't taken to theaters way back when). It's actually a huge irony that cartoons are considered "kiddy fare" now.

Even so, I honestly don't care if it's considered "childish" to watch cartoons past a certain age...that'd be like saying that everyone who works in the Animation industry is "immature". If a cartoon is good, and one enjoys it, I say, watch it and love it. It's not childish, and there's tons of other people who watch it and love it too (just look at CL...the majority of us here isn't even part of the "target audience" of Boys ages 7-12).

Being an "eternal child" actually sounds like a lot of fun to me....certainly less stressful.

Agreed. After all, we're all on here for a cartoon show! But it's cartoon show with a heart, real (sometimes) problems that ppl can relate too, a really cool bad guy (who we never really see, so it makes him even cooler), and awesome characters. And people say watching cartoons makes your brain melt... HA! I think I get smarter everytime I watch it...
