Personally, I think that it was a prototype for future polymorphic clones. I was the one who introduced the topic on Wikipedia, actually. It lacks many traits of future clones, but it successfully mimicked a human being, well, until they found the real Yumi, and the clone started wrecking stuff, and...

I mean, a polymorphic clone is a normal specter that can take on human shape. Granted we didn't see it do any specter like qualities outside of the pulsing Eye of XANA on her forehead.

It's either a prototype or it's actually a REAL copy of Yumi that XANA has direct influence or control over... one of those (remember it was materialized)

Still, it WAS a clone, either way you splice it. All that really matters is what type it was. If it was a prototype polymorphic clone, then it worked amazingly well. If it was a direct clone, then it also served it's purpose.

However, how it worked so well still gets by me... I mean... wasn't it easy to see that it wasn't Yumi? For one thing, sense when would Yumi be so cold about telling Ulrich to date other people... she only does that when she's really angry and you can see her seething in rage ( just having a little fun)

I think thats when they first started to notice something wrong...and I think the second thing was when Yumi flirted with Jeremie, they know Yumi would never do that....but yeah, I think it was more of a prototype, and it did work well.

I think that that is a gimmick of cartoons. For example, in some cartoons, a person who is obviously wearing a disguise is able to fool guards and the like. I think it's all in a matter of perspective. For example, in those cartoons, to the guards (or similar persons) the badly-disguised person would have looked okay, but to the audiance, we know the truth.

Kind of the same with Yumi. To outsiders, she would have been looking like she had a bad day, or something like that. Only when she started acting REALLY weird would the audiance have really noticed anything wrong at all.
