Argh! Girl troubles!

Ok, ok, ok! I know what you're all going to say most likely just by reading the topic name! I'm having girl troubles here. Let me explain.

8 Weeks ago, at ITT (Yes I go to college at ITT ) During my Math course in my third quarter, I met this... really... really cute girl, right? She seems really nice, helps me with my Math, (I suck at Math ) And always helpful. Shes also single from asking around.

I know you are all, oh my god, you got to talk to her! Well, I would, except...

When it comes around to relationships and things like that, talking to the opposite gender, I tend to lock up, studder, and blush alot.

I have known her a good while, about 3 months, and am wondering what my options here are, considering how I act around her. I am one of those dubbed, "Hopeless Romantic" types, so I think it would be a good turn, but dont know what to do.

Why does it have to be me with the talking troubles?! ><;

I just really needed to rant and seek advice. What do I do, Oh gurus of LyokoFreak? Because this is really starting to annoy me that I cant do anything around her relationship-wise. Anywho, thanks for having a Rant area for me to steam off, I appreciate it ^^

Yeah, I agree with that. I find it totally cute too. And hey, if she doesn't like you like that, she will most definitely turn you down sweetly, and that way, you can both get that out of the way, and just be really really good friends!

This is an easy fix. Just gather all the courage you have and talk to her more. The more you do it, and keep pressing for conversation and all that, the easier it will become. She might also just like you back after a little while.

Thanks for the advice. I have been trying to talk about it, but said issues such as turning a bright red, and not able to talk are an issue. I think she knows i am trying to talk about it too, as she always says like, "It's ok, you can tell me." And such.

I will keep trying though ^^

Mostly, I think it's adorable. But there are those times that I like a guy to be confident in asking me out. Anyways, both ways are fine with me.

I'm a boy, but that means that I know how certain guys act under certain conditions. Usually the ones who are really "smooth" tend to be that way because they're prideful- they think she'll say yes no matter what. The ones who blush, stutter, etc. tend to be nervous because they know they aren't perfect, which is a very good thing. Don't worry. Nervousness is all part of love.

Heh, thanks, It is true, I am not by any means perfect. I am somewhat afraid though of what she will say though, I mean, Like I am not good enough for her, or something. It's just really a hard thing to do for me. I just hope she understands that when I eventually am able to talk to her about it...

Science help me, I can't even believe I am going to make recomendations on other people romances. If you know me, you know I have no room to talk. Anyways, I think one aproach no one has mentioned is notes, letters and IM. Not looking at her can give you a boost, mostly because looking at women you are atracted to is very distracting. Not being in the same room when you write it down can help express things much more clearly. Just don't overdo it, because spontaneous poetry if she only thinks of you as a freind might make things slightly uncomfortable for a little while. Just keep it simple, short and to the point. I wish you far better luck than I have.

Wrong! Don't act like a jerk either. Just have confidence and keep conversation going while ignoring the butterflies in your stomach. That really helps get your confidence up and make it easier to talk to women.

Heh, I am in no way going to be a "macho" guy around her, because those people already tick me off. I wish I could just tell her and be myself, but its proving really really hard. Sometimes I wish that I could like, do something that no one else thought of when it comes to this, you know, something unique.

You're right. VSTI. I know many an instance where I had to stick through in order to accomplish this.

I mean, LyokoMUSH is a great example.

It took so much programming and team effort to get it where it stands now. Now its a thriving live Text-based RP game, based on CL.

(Actually its not that thriving currently because of summer vacation ) Though as we spread the word about it, more players will come, and by the time Season 3 rolls around, it will be the closest thing one can get to Code Lyoko! And I'll be proud at the work the founder and Vchat2.0 Have done on it as I run the NPCs and paly as Ulrich, helping others, as well as me, have fun ^^

I appreciate the inspiration, guys. It really helps out alot.
