This has been going on for a few weeks now. I can't seem to fall asleep when I want to. My mom thinks it's because I'm getting use to summer and shes cool with it. But I'm not. At first I would just fall asleep around 9 or 10. Then when a show came on called "Mission Hill" I decided to stay up until 11:30 for the two nights that I got a chance to watch it.
But now my body won't let me go to sleep until it's 1 am or later. It's changing my mood a lot. I'm not happy when I wake up, I want to be left alone. And at night I'm bound with energy bouncing off the walls until it's all gone. It's making me go nuts. I'm prone to get major headaches if I don't get a good nights rest and this is not helping one bit.
For once I just want to go to sleep like a normal person. Not staying up until well after mid night. So if anyone has any advice please let me know because I'm sick of being a night owl every single night.
*shlaps self* Just don't worry, I experienced that about two weeks ago. At camp, we stayed up until ungodly hours... and I wouldn't get to sleep until 11:30 to past midnight for about a week. >.< Actually, here's something you should really try- you seem to have all that energy during the night. Try and use it all up during the day- you know, get active! Play a sport or something! Even sunbathing can help- sunlight helps sleep. Seriously.
