PS3 or Xbox 360?

All right, let it be known that of the 3 systems of the current generation the PS2 has been favorite. I've used it more then my other two and I'm firmly commited to eventually getting a PS3.
However I'm worried that I shan't be able to get my hands on one before christmas. Plus the asking price is a bit steep at this point.

I was thinking then, I could acquire an X-Box 360 sometime over the summer and stick with it till the price of my beloved PS3 comes down and there are more games for it. Infact I'm pretty much intending to do that.

Anyone know what games are out/comming out for the 360? And if I'm even making a wise decesion?

Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter and Gears of War. Or if you aren't allowed to touch those, there's that pinata land one.

I think the PS3 is going to push Sony to being a next-gen Sega, if you catch my drift.
