S4 Episode 11: The Lake

Not exactly sure what this episode has in store for us but CN's bumper sure made it look exciting. :D

Looks like XANA attacks while the kids are on a field trip to a lake...with lightning bolts possibly? O_o

This also appears to be the episode where the shot of Yumi attacking William with a closed fan in the Polar Region comes from...

...And, what's this? Yumi trying to appeal to the "real William"?

Isn't the episode called "The Lake"?

Whatever, this episode sounds like a filler. Hope it's decent.

TV.com and Teklinks list it as that, but CN has it listed as just "Lake". If the Episode Title screen reads, "The Lake", I'll change it to that.

Actually, its a CN mistake.

The name in the CN database is "Lake, The" It should be "The Lake" but since "," is worth 5 characters, it didn't fit in the flash display.

I think that they are on some type of science field trip and XANA somehow controls a weather device or something.....and he uses that moment to attack the skid....

From commercials sounds like a good episode. I just noticed though that Aelita isn't seen in the commercial, guess it's gonna be all Yumi. :D

Yay, the first episode I get to watch ON TV since... last year! Yeah, we just got satellite installed this morning. Sweet... A little bit ago I managed to catch a brief glimpse of the preview, but I only saw the end. It starts in a half hour... I've got to be ready...

The Lake. Ah, the only actual bit of info I ever found was this ep's name. Hey, maybe Yumi was Ejecting Xana's Presence from Ol' Willie. After all, she was holding her fan up to his Forehead'snSymbolk, right? Right?!

Well, I just watched it and I thought it was decent but what I mostly like about it is that there seems to be a bit foreshadowing with William and Xana's attack is an interesting one.

Mmm, nice episode. Of course, it was obvious William would end up back under XANA's control, but hey, ya' can get rid of the bad guy until the end of the series. Still, I was a little bit irritated at how close Yumi was to William during that point... I don't mind Yumi/William, but Ulrich's better for her. ^_^

*dreamy sigh* Wow...I can't help but be insanely affected by....I dunno what you call it. The real William memories...well at least that means he's not so permanently possessed. He's got 1% of his life still...

Sometimes I wonder what he does when he's alone.

I really liked this episode :D
Very fast paced. To be honest, I was kind of hoping Yumi would kiss or hug William to help him get back his memory lol. I suppose this is one step closer to William returning back to normal, too, hopefully.

Hey you know, I'm a full Yumi/William supporter from now on. o_O Last year I wanted to bite the writers heads off just for having some William/Yumi action. Now I'm all for it...KILL ULRICH...okay no...I'll go either way at this point.

Act III + general comments:
-The "Carthage Calls For Aid" sequence was cool
-The way Skippy's suckers disappeared... is Skippy... dead?
-If not, did XANA still get any Skid data out of the deal? That may explain the sequence from the preview. Maybe XANA builds its own Skid...

Am I the only one who noticed the light waves being red when XANAliam came out of the tower? That was a nice touch xD And it was a surprise seeing him in there.

All in all, this was an AWESOME episode in my opinion. And one of the best XANA attacks period.. Although that may be my affinity for all things lightning ;P xDD

Poor Ulrich though, getting left in a "rubber dingy" for half the episode *shakes her head with a 'tch tch tch' sound*

And I admit, I was rooting for William to conquer XANA inside his mind. *sigh* Someday I guess? .....*blinks* Oh no. I'm becoming a William fan. o_O AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! ----*brick'd*


*cough* Anyway, had some great Kiwi moments in this episode ^^ The end made me giggle, as did Kiwi jumping into Odd's arms on the bus. Reminded me of an old dog I used to have, it did. *sigh* I miss him...

Also, old outfits again~! I hope they show up some more, I missed them xD It'd be cool if it switched back and forth every couple episodes, too ^^ Woo for more outfit choices~

And the Schyzzie's back! Woo~ But was I seeing things, or did it actually die? oO;; I'll have to go back to my tape and check.

So many great lines, so many great shots to be taken. Like I said, all in all an awesome episode ^^

Poor Yumi, but at least she knows he's still there, just that XANA's got a tight leash on William. XANA actually had everything going for him this time, then Aelita showed up, but if she didn't he definately would have won.
