Co-Admin

Those of you who were around for a certain spam incident recently will notice that I was not online at the time, and yet the user who was spamming was banned anyway. This is what happened.

Katie ( http://www.lyokofreak.net/forum/profile ... ofile&u=21 ) called me last night and told me what happened. Perfect timing too, because I happened to be out of town and didn't have access to the internet. So I had her log into my account to ban him for me. Let's all give Katie some thanks for that, too: not only did she take care of the problem, but she also did it without changing my password and taking over the forum. xDD

Anyway, this issue made me decide that it was time to get a co-mod, because I won't always be here when these sorts of things happen. Katie proved to me that she's trustworthy and knows what she's doing, so she'll be the second admin around here for good.

True, but, like I said in my post about going on a hiatus, I'll still come around here as often as ever. (I'm addicted to my own forum... that's... really sad.....)

Anyway, judging from the past, Katie probably won't be around here as much as me. (I could be wrong, of course...) But she'll definitely be around when I can't be/etc. So now no one can be bad when I'm gone. Muahaha. x)

I'd hardly call that sad, more like cool that you have a forum worth so much attention and salutations to Katie on the promotion - she's not around often but she's always been level-headed and fair-minded from what I've seen, and her friendship with Erynn makes her ideal material for co-admin - I just hope she reads these posts to see our support for her.

Im no longer an active member to this forum. I mean, Ill still be around, but not nearly as much as I used to be. Ill miss being mod, but what's the sense of keeping a title you cant live up to.

That actually happened at UMSD... Yumi Ishiyama (our admin who kinda like... left...)'s brother changed her password, made himself admin, and temporarily made some high posters (including me) mods. She had to call her mom and have her make him give back control of the forum xD
