Since the "What are you listening to?" thread is specifically about informing everyone about the specific song one is listening to at that moment, I figured it would be appropriate to start a new thread about this one specific group.
Anyway, the Vitamin String Quartet- VSQ- is not your ordinary cover band. As their name suggests, they do string versions of songs. And they are awesome. I'm not one for listening to actual classical music, but I love the sound of strings. And let me tell you something, The Jonas Brothers' "When You Look Me in the Eyes" is infinitely better when done in strings. (Their songs don't usually have Microsoft Sam in them, I assure you.)
They've done such songs as "Shake It" by Metro Station, "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" by Panic at the Disco, "Check Yes Juliet" by We the Kings and even "Numb" by Linkin Park. And that's not even close to complete. They've done hundreds, probably thousands, of songs. Pretty much anything you could think of. Even Enya. (I couldn't find any Tokio Hotel, though...)
I figured they were awesome enough to have their own thread about them. What's your favorite song by them? Your least favorite? Enraged that they haven't done [song] by [artist]? Deafened by the awesomeness/your loud speakers? Discuss.
