I like it too. Some episodes I like better than others (UNAGI!!! ), but the show as a whole really is neat. SamBlob did a really neat x-over pic of Avatar and CL...have you seen it? ^_^

I've also done two pieces of Avatar fanart: Avatar's avatar for a club contest (I came second... of two entries... ) and one of my chalk-on-black-paper drawings: Fire Shall NOT Prevail!

It's not spandex. They're sweats, or something clost to it. You would never wear spandex where he is in that picture, which is the Polar Region. Plus...well it's kind of opinion but they look more of an ice-blue color to me. Baby blue is a little paler and not as bright, usually. ^^

And it was a horrible thought! YUCK! Maybe I'll remove the submission... nah, I put too much work in it... besides, its my only submission to have more than one fav...

I think episode 14 is "The Blue Spirit". I'll double-check, but I'm pretty sure that's the one. And that is indeed a really awesome episode. One of the best, for sure.

Actually, that reminds me of how I started to watch Avatar. The first time I ever heard of it was from some Aang fanart by a dA member named chibi-jen-hen, whereupon I thought "What a dumb-looking guy!"

Then Mewberries151 (or Mewberries as she's known at dA) wrote a journal entry about Avatar, saying how great it was. I told her I'd give it a try and was told in reply that I was in luck; a block of the first four episodes was being aired that Friday. So I decided to give it a try and watch it.

Two hours after the block of four episodes started, I was hooked, gaffed and landed. I have watched it ever since.

The situations and personalities are excellent IMO. The reluctant Avatar, his less worldly but (not much) more responsible guardians, the pursuer for whom honour can only be restored by capturing the Avatar, the other pursuer seeking the glory of capturing the Avatar and the destruction of his rival...

...and, of course, my favourite character, the first pursuer's trainer, a respected retired general who just wants to eat food and live life...

Well, one pic from Avatar (not seen the show yet, hasn't arrived to LatinAmerica yet, but maybe I won't look at it) was enough to make me think the bald characther with something yellow on his forehead look quite dumb. But hey, that's just my opinion.

That was my opinion too, and he is a bit goofy, but I still thing it's a great show. Funny, but not just funny; it has depth, too...

Actually, you're right. There are only 13 episodes. I checked at TV.com and "The Blue Spirit" is indeed #13. And there haven't been any played past that....maybe Lyokodude meant 13. ^^

Well, it's not a regularly played show. It's times are kind of random, but new episodes and marathons almost always start on Fridays at 8:00 PM. I hope they play a new one soon. I want to see what happens next.
