Code Lyoko Animorphs connection

I know this may sound weird but I have found many similarities in these two things. First of all they are both fighting an enemy they can't see and areholding out until they can win. That also changes by the end. There are also many character connections.

Odd/Marco: They are both the comic relief of the group. Also were very suspicious when it comes to there enemies and had both gone out with almost every single girl.

Ulrich/Tobias:They are both mysterious and don't like to give off their feelings. The biggest difference is that Ulrich is actually human and was popular before the Xana fighting. As for Tobias no one cared about him.

Yumi/Raechel: They both seem fearless and do whatever it takes to stop the current threat. Also a TobiasxRaechel and UlrichxYumi minor love connection.

Jeremie/Jake: they are both the leaders of the group and usually more sensible than the rest of the group.

Aelita/Cassie: They are both caring and sensitive. Also a CassiexJake and JeremiexAelita minor love connection. Both pairings have kissed once and often fight about the others decisions.

Xana and the yeerks both can take control of people although Xana can only take control of one person at a time and needs the power of the towers to fuel him.

Both enemies had been fueled by someone who is know one of there greatest enemies. Franz used the return to the past a ton of times and Seerow had given the yeerks technology so they could take over other planets.

There is also a similarity between Ax and Aelita. They were both knew to earth when they traveled their from were they had been staying for a long time. Aelita was born on Earth but still didn't know about it when she came there.

Ther are differences between these two stories but the major plot lines are the same. This is also my first topic and I couldn't find anywhere else to post this so if anyone has suggestions if I will make future topics I would be glad to here them.

Heh...my apologies guys, but we already have a thread for CL comparisons to other shows. The thread's been pushed a bit far down, but it's got a lot of ideas on it...I think Animorphs may have been already mentioned even. ^^
