I am in band at my school. And I am currently trying to get one together sorta. I'm learning to play the electric guitar.
I play the clarinet and flute in the concert band.

i can play a couple others but those are my two favorites. and yea i enjoy it actually. its very fun. i get to skip a lot of school for it.

my friends have a band. They dont have a name or anything yet, but they are really good. One plays bass guitar, another electric, and my friend patrick is a god when it comes to drums. Also mike is a really good singer.

That's just great...I TOO play in a band. BACK in middle school I was a great sax player and still am. I also play Bass Guitar. Well, I guess we are perfect for each other, I always wanted to marry a musician.

I'm fairly good with a recorder (flute-like wind instrument; most modern ones are made of plastic).
I tried learning to play the electric guitar once and I think I actually achieved mediocrity at one point, but I stopped the lessons years ago and I haven't picked the guitar up in months...
I would like to start a band as it would get me to start playing and practicing regularly, but I can't get a band together because I have no friends IRL.

Actually, It's more shaped like a clarinet, and the way you play it. Basically.

Indeed. But unlike the clarinet (and the flute) it doesn't have any of those annoying keys on it....

Yes it has holes. But the clarinet is MUCH funner to play than the recorder. The flute is horizontal, While the clarinet and recorder are vertical. So I don't know why you keep associating the flute with the recorder.

Heavy Metal doesn't value singing. Shouting or screaming works better. At least they think so...
