This is horrible. If their way is applied, there would be an extinction of YouTube content equaling that of the K-T extinction that felled the dinosaurs, plesiosaurs, pterosaurs, mosasaurs and many others.
That, and nearly all top-rated Code Lyoko videos on YouTube will effectively fall into the Digital Sea.

This has been in the news for a while. Do I really want my future tax dollars spent on keeping someone who streamed a movie in jail? Focus on physical things like murder first

isn't it amazing how white collar crime tax evaders end up in jail, but people can literally get away with murder (eg the cassy whatever case going on right now in the US)
I love demandprogress. They find all of those bills that the govnt tries to sneak past us, and they make it super easy to sign the petitions, and contact your congress members. I've signed up for the mailing list.
