Hey, someone had to do it. So, what will you be doing, if anything, for tonight?

All I care about is that I don't have school on Super Bowl Monday. I never really was one for real-life sports teams.
I really gotta fix up this theme

I could care less about the Super Bowl

Couldn't!

Why do most people confuse could and couldn't for the "I _____ care less" phrase?

Anyways, not a fan of American Football, but I kinda expect the Steelers to win.

I'm rooting for the Packers because they're closer to home, but I don't really care. I'm watching for the commercials, like pretty much a third of everyone else who watches the Super Bowl.

Superbowl is ridiculous and doesn't make American Football stand out as something serious. 1 hour of game + 3-4 hours of commercials? How fun!

I think it's boring and lame, but I'm glad it gives people something to look forward to and enjoy. Just as long as nobody forces me to watch it. x.x

So far, the commercialy aren't any good this year...

The game, howver, is awesome! The Packers just returned an interception for a TD to take a 14-0 lead. I am so happy!

That was freaking awesome to watch. I don't really root for one EPL team over any other, but I like Newcastle because they have rowdy fans and climbed up from the Championship last season.

Now, back to "football"

Newcastle jumped the shark for me since Alan Shearer retired. Kinda hard to give a damn for them these days. Actually, I should have said Liverpool 2005 given the circumstances.

It's got a bit more interesting now that the Steelers stand a chance to win it.

Superbowl also makes Northamericans look like morons when they claim they only watch the game because of the commercials. And then they go crap on other sports that actually takes their grand finale tournaments more seriously.

Some people just don't like sports... (like me) But um... I'm one of the rare few of my kind that recognizes that other sports are kinda epic if played properly. American football just seems to be a lot of going and stopping then going then stopping. It's like... What's the point of all that?

It is taken seriously by sports fans. However, it is so big it draws people in who don't like sports - those who watch it because they are at a party, or just for the commercials. It's almost too big for its own good, because it can never live up to the hype. 30 seconds of commercial time costs #3 million this year. It's huge business, and the sports unfortunately takes a backseat sometimes. But this is turning into a very competetive game.

Well, Packers won. I guess I can't say I'm surprised (it is 'can't' right?). Anyways, thanks for your input, even though a lot less people than I thought would care. Oh well, we all have our opinions.
