Hey everyone! I was looking online and found out Naruto (From Naruto) means fishcake and his full name, Uzumaki Naruto, means spiral fishcake. so I was wondering what are some other interesting translations from any anime/manga, doesn't have to be just from naruto, well go ahead and start listing, or ask what a name means and someone will take time to go google it.

Why would they name him fishcake? Isn't he a fox? (I've never seen the anime, so don't hate me if it's a stupid question lol)

Omg I have had something like that. Same shape and color. It was in a kimchi flavored soup I had... Wait no it wasn't the kimchi, it was the spicy flavored. Idk. It was weird, but I did like those little fish things with the swirl in the middle :P Now I'll never be able to eat those again without thinking of the anime. o.O

They are delicious. Just take my word for it.

And uh, a lot of manga/games etc have names that are play on words or otherwise significant. It'd take forever to list them all.

Yeah, the easiest one to spot would be Dragonball Z, with Vegeta, Raditz, Gohan...all the names are plays on foods or other stuff (Piccolo, anyone?)

Gohan is a rice, and Raditz=raddish.
