So for discussion: Did anyone think of Lyoko? You know, stumbling upon some strange equipment, wanting to figure it out, get unceremoniously warped into digital space, got attacked, wanted to rescue somebody, rescued them, important person dies.

Nah, didn't think of it because I was too hyped for the movie. It was so awesome, can't wait for the story that the sequel brings, or for the ARG extension.

The plot was somewhat weak, but the visuals made up for it in spades. I saw the original Tron years ago, and it was a very good movie, but there's nothing like seeing a Recognizer in full 3D or the Light Cycles, the Solar Sailer, or anything else. Holy crap.
I really gotta fix up this theme

I think of Lyoko when I think of this as well as The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest, which I am watching right now.

I thought of Quorra as Aelita's friendliness and naivité (and the whole "girl in the computer" thing) plus Marceline's (from Adventure Time) punk-rock attitude.
