I really just don't have a good read on what the tone of this show is. The preview art makes it seem super serious, like Samurai Jack or the micro-episode Clone Wars set. The 20 second preview thing I saw seemed a little lighter though, it was basically some action and an extended 'kid pees the pool' joke.
I'll probably watch it either way, I'm hard up for some good action TV lately, but it's just kind of difficult to form an opinion yet

If you have CN West, you can watch it at 11PM on that feed [assuming you're on the east coast]

After seeing it was not on Cartoon Network Video yet, I watched it on YouTube.
THIS STUFF IS AMAZING. Except for the theme song...because it does not have one. It would have been....better-than-amazing if it possessed a great theme song. Bad habit of new shows nowadays, having no theme songs or terribly short, pointless ones.
Anyway, going by TVTropes definitions, I like Narm Charm (although, I call it "Narmtastic") properties of the Anatomy of the Soul bit. For some reason, I can compare Lance to William in personality. Not as an initial impression----"Oh, hey, he's like William" but as a counscious anaylsis of a few shared traits. "Hmm, those traits---I just noticed William has similar traits too."

Really? I kinda see him as a composite of Ulrich and William.

True, describing him as a composite would be more accurate in defining his personality, but the fact he has black hair---like William---makes him easier to liken to William specifically.

You are right.....but apparently it was more obvious to me that he possessed black hair than the fact he possessed a fairly rectangular facial shape.
