I like this show. Good medical drama. Gives a lot of background on the doctors. Wish the nurses could get a little show time. Last season saw the character of Dr. Carter (Noah Wyle) leave. His presence will be missed. I wanna see next season to find out who will be the new main character.

I've never understood why people liked ER. Maybe it's just because I'm squeamish and can't handle most of the things shown in the show but it is still beyond my reason as to why people would want to watch something so.. well.. stressful. o_o

My aunt really likes this show, though. It's because she always wanted to do something medical related and even though she was very smart she never pursued a medical career. When her son, my cousin, was very little, he would refer to the show as "Nurses Kill People".

Hahaha, I actually kind of like ER too... I haven't seen it much and I know next to nothing about it, but what I *have* seen of it was pretty good I guess.

Of course, the fact that it's pretty much a soap makes it a guilty pleasure.

This show is so addictive. I can't handle blood, gore, or anything of that sort, so I spend most of my time running from the room or covering my eyes, but something keeps pulling me back in....

ER, such a great show. It rocked 'till Season 8. Then it went downhill, but I hope it gets better for Season 12. Well, Carter is gone and I guess the new leader would probably be Luka Kovac, Abby Lockhart, Greg Pratt...

Abby Lockhart (Maura Tierney) started as a nurse on ER a few episodes before Carol left, now she's a doctor. Carol Hathaway (Julianna Margulies) was a nurse from Season 1 til Season 6. Sam Taggart (Linda Cardellini) is also a nurse. 3 nurses as main characthers, but no pharmacists as main characthers yet...

Let's not forget this show was George Clooney's catapult to fame.
