Because Carth locked the topic started in the Tech forum, i'll revive this.
After several months of trying to get ubuntu to boot portably on a computer with no native usb boot support, i got it working and thought i should celebrate by making an awesome background. And with dual screens, i could have my 2 favorite
(yes i know its small. Facebook shrunk it. Whenever i can get it working on this computer i'll reupload it)

Mine is this tropical pier at twilight with a cabana at the end stretching into the sea... very blue.
Another account on this computer has a tile-pattern of a red eye of XANA on a black background. That one's being used for a project where I need to take a screenshot of it.

My MacBook has a giant Eye of XANA staring back at me... though that Digital Sea picture is awesome. I might set it to rotate with XANA's Eye.
On my netbook and Snow Leopard partition, I have several that cycle every five minutes. Here is one awesome image, though:

Also, you see my flashy avatar? I'm planning on doing some work with a Windows 7 VM that I have so it flashes through each one of the 52 frames that make up the animation in order at very high speeds so I can have a background that directly resembles my avatar.

Normally, my desktop is a quote from the majority opinion in the 1803 US Supreme Court case Marbury v. Everything reminds you of CL. And which Avatar do you mean? If it's the James Cameron film with the scantily clad blue people, I certainly see the resemblance. As for the animated TV show... not so much.
