You have to hit the print screen button and then open up a palette in a paint program like MSPaint. Then paste it into the palette and it should appear.

No idea if Linux can PrtScr... you're welcome to look for tool to do that for you, though.

GIMP is likely overkill for this menial task, but, yes, it will work. Do save it in something we MicroSlaves can view, though - JPEG is a good choice.

[EDIT] Mew, GIMP stands for the GNU Image Manipulation Program - essentially a free version of Photoshop, which owns Paint into the next galaxy. Non-Windows operating systems don't have Paint.

Also, I didn't include my wallpaper... which is a good thing, as it's a DDR Ultramix 3 wallpaper, which is likely something nobody cares about.

DDR is awesome. Um. I'm not sure which series I liked the best.. all I know is I have Ultramix for Xbox lol (I -watch- people play the ones at the arcades.. I usually don't do it in public because I'm too embarrassed lol. I love the music though.)

Yeah.. I have GIMP, because Photoshop is evil and decided to go bust. I don't use it much, because honestly it's confusing-- I used PSP for the longest time, and then when I wiped my hard drive and didn't have it anymore, I got pretty used to Photoshop. And now I have this new thing, and... ugh.

My dad uses Linux.. I don't because I think anything that isn't Windows is weird and confusing and different. (Besides, you can't download/install anything for Linux! Not the good versions, anyway! So I'd rather continue to be bombarded with viruses and occasionally clean out the gunk by running an Anti-Virus sweep, but at least I get to do anything I want.)

Mneh, Linux is all right. But we have windows 98 on the othrer side, and phooshop 4.0le which I call Alphabet Soup because they just stick letters on the end

And I love linux! Between Tux, GIMP, Staroffice (Openoffice) Pingus, tux racer, and Kmail, it's awesome!

And BTW: I'm curtrently changing my background to this
