June sixth, I go on a field trip to the US capital. (Personally, I think that's the WORST place to be on 6/6/06. Oh crap, now I'm scared of dyin...)

Roflcopters, my school's prom is right across the street from the White House or something. On that day too. Too bad I'm not going.

June 30th, I go party, draw XANA symbols on every screen in the house in order to show him homage so that he may keep my house unexploded, go crazy with the tablet I hope to get, and, of course, discover the joys of Erynnism and cussing without shame in BKO. Yay.

blue Armor Boy was a good friend of mine, and old TvTome Vet. We were about the same age and he and I would create like, a million funny sessions...

unfortunately, his last post thusfar was on April 6, 2006, so June 6th, 2006, would be two months since he was last seen at LF.

Even though I don't have his e-mail, I've tried to leave messages through IMVu, where you're automatically e-mailed a notice, so either he's ignoring everyone, or is having serious computer trouble.

Another good friend of mine was Numbuh 7, who recently left due to serious groundings.
You always know who she is because she always posted in deep pink. Always.

I'm sure this has already been posted, but wouldn't it make more sense that the big flashy end that's been predicted would have happened in the year 6? Because technically the number of that date is 6606... So unless Satan picked up a "0" somewhere along the way...

I'd start going into my own beliefs about the matter, but I think I'd rather avoid a religious debate. xD (Especially since I already had one today, and, ohhhh my god they're pointless...)

Hmm - some nut says the Bible predicts a nuclear holocaust in the year 2006 so maybe - fingers crossed that it's wrong.

My dad was the one who helped prove there was no such thing as Y2K.

What it was is some group of inept teens thought that their computer was so mysterious and unknowing about human ways that it wouldn't recognise the date January 1, 2000. This wuould cause a massive overload, and eventually make the computer blow up in a mushroom cloud like they do with the cartoons. My dad proved that these peope were dimwitts, because you can set anything, even from win.95, you can set the date ahead to about 2010, when they expected most people to upgrade to a better edition.

He's also made cars thar un on grapefruits, and interrogated and tortured Furbys.

As to the Y2K thing: I heard a story about a grocery store. A large load of some sort of food was trashed by their computer system because it thought the expiration date had passed. The date was sometime in 2000 but the computer thought it was 1900 because when computers were first made, the date never had "19" in the front. Only the final two years. After people realized that that would cause a problem, they started fixing the codes.

Hmm, the only interesting thing about June 6th this year is that the remake of 'The Omen' is coming out on that day.

When this day comes I'll be laughing my butt off watching the news seeing what people have to say. And when I'm in school I'll have a huge grin on my face just listening to everyone freak out about it. To me it's another day.

KingCheez makes a really good point. Hopefully no one will blow things so far out of proportion that the day actually does become dangerous.

As for myself on this...I can only truly say that the world is not allowed to end before seasons 3 and 4 of Code Lyoko air. (j/k)

I agree. The day has no significance. It is simply our own decision what happens. (This is why the 616 argument reaches a dead end. Not many people know that 616 is the actual number.)

That's why I'm afraid. I'm afraid that someone will choose that day as something that will stick out, something with a reason. (I mean, look. Marquez and x1 chose 6/6/06 as the next date for Party Bash. That Omen movie comes out that day. The band AFI plans a show that day. Who knows what else happens?) Then, they go and do something stupid. Like, say, bomb DC. And with the whole religious debate, it all gets worse.

I'm thinking I should go up to my social studies teacher tomorrow and tell her to stop the field trip, or at least change the date. Not just for me, but for my classmates. I've got a gut feeling that something isn't right-It's been keeping me awake for nights now, and I'm not going to sit around and let this happen.

Maybe it's just paranoia. I am very paranoid. But it's what I feel is right.
