Ahem... you forgot "In God We Trust". And people were looking for God all their lives and they just realized they had Him in their pockets. XD *gets shot*

That didn't make any sense... how does "In God We Trust" have anything to do with American pride...? It's just a stupid thing some crackhead in the old days had the bright idea to imprint on all our money, making all the atheists hate living here. :D

And "The Star Spangled Banner" is the national anthem.. Our dearest Administrator's username just happens to be Star Way.. it's not that hard.. lol

Oh say can you see
by the dawn’s early light
What so proudly we hail’d
At the twilight’s last gleaming

Whose broad stripes and bright stars
through the perilous fight
O’er the ramparts we watched
were so gallantly streaming?

And the rockets’ red glare
the bombs bursting air,
Gave proof through the night
that our flag was still there.

Oh say does that
star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free
And the home of the brave?

^^ See I can sing the whole thing! lol (that I can remember from 2nd grade.. :P) No I did NOT copy and paste that.. don't be silly! heh heh

Anybody wanna do an Erynn-ified version? ;)

Like most "messages" from a celebrity(actor, singer, comedian, etc) this is almost certainly a fake that originated on the internet. Whether you agree of disagree with what is said, the contents are a great deal more intelligent and well-written than these celebrities have ever been capable of.

But just to play along.....

Revocation of our independence? Last time I check, the independence wasn't granted but fought for and won in a war.

As for guns, maybe "John Cleese" should realize that handgun violence in the UK has risen by 40% in the years since ownership was banned. Maybe he should hop down off the soapbox.

Hey, chill out. It's only a bit of fun, no need to get touchy about it. ;)

Now normally, you'd possibly have a good point, but John Cleese was one of the members of Monty Python's Flying Circus, not to mention he's perfectly literate and almost always well-spoken. He could have actually written this, I believe, for those reasons.
"Hey, make up your mind. Am I a genius or a creep?"
"You're a creepy genius."

Interesting. America actually has a war plan to attack the British. It was called something like War Plan Red and involved U.S. troops going in and capturing Canada first. It was first created in the 1930's and updated in the late 1960's, by 1978 in was retired and is now viewable by the public at the Library of Congress. Oh, yea. It also said stuff like if the U.S. won we'd divide Canada into more states, and if Canada won they'd want Alaska. Cool, eh?

That would of been cool if we did do the plan. I mean if we did we could probably compete with China with that many people under the U.S. but it is retired but it does definitely cool.

America, the Fourth Reich - conquering my country tommorrow!

I hardly find calling that plan 'cool' funny.
