Well, I thought it was AWESOME, excluding several rather...out of place scenes

Most memorable quote of all time.

See, I'm more sentimental, so this quote stuck better in my head:

"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings."

Though this one stuck in pretty well, too:

Jazz: "You wanna piece of me? YOU WANNA PIECE OF ME?!?"

Megatron: "NO!!!" (rips Jazz in two) "I WANT TWO!!!"

Correct me if I'm wrong but, thinking back, after Bumblebee scans his new, sleek and product placement-oriented form, was there music playing from DDR supernova?

The song used to introduced Bumblebee's sleek look was not from DDR, it was actually the theme song from Kill Bill.

Watched it on the Transformers avant-premiere at Peru. I f*cking loved it.

I never thought an action movie would abuse of the comical spots like Spiderman 3 did, but Transformers managed to pull that off. It was like they were making fun of a lot of people/things.

It was good, but it was a little too much of what Idiocracy is against: product placement.

As much as I loved the movie:

1. Wasn't Megatron a gun in his non-autobot shape?

2. Optimus Prime wasn't supposed to look like a Hot Wheels or Hot Rod vehicle. He seemed like he came from "Pimp My Autobot".

The latino soldier had some funny lines. "It's my heritage. Siempre me están jodiendo con la misma m*erda." xD

That movie was weird. It was like a 140-minute advertisement for General Motors and Burger King, but the Burger King spot was funny. I didn't know that Autobots need to eat food, especially Whoppers. Why not Jumbo Jacks?

1. That's correct. In Generation 1 Megatron was a gun. These days it's politically incorrect to be making toys for kids that resemble realistic guns. That's why they opted to make him an alien jet this time around. He's already been a gun, a tank, a T-Rex, and a car/jet in previous series. Many fans were upset about his new appearance because he didn't resemble any of his past forms.

2. The flames make him stronger! Actually there was an interview with Michael Bay a while back. It was on Yahoo. One of the questions brought up was, "Why did you decide to give Optimus Prime flames?" He responded by saying, "I gave him flames because... well... I wanted him to have flames." Pure and simple.

"Siempre me están jodiendo con la misma m*erda."
HAHAHAHA!!! :*D I get it. :D

*bump*

ENewsI is reporting that Michael Bay is extremely upset over Paramount Pictures' recent announcement of shunning Blu-Ray viewers by releasing "Transformers" exclusively on HD-DVD. So upset, in fact, Mr. Bay has commented on his official website forums that there will be "[n]o Transformers 2 for me!" Does this actually mean he is dropping out of the project? Stay tuned when and if things develop.

Transformers director Michael Bay is who purchased Hulk Hogan’s Miami Beach home for $18 million, according to Canada.com.

We Brits have got to wait until December for the DVD here - ah well, I've got the OST CD shipping from America to look forward too :)

Bay's now confirmed he's doing the sequel, so rest easy on that account :) - scriptwriters have been hired and Spielberg's stated that the story should roughly be worked out by now (based on an interview from a few weeks ago) - and Transformers has now broken $700 Million in global takings btw XD

Well, It's Giant Fighting Robots with a built in supply of rabid fans. It was a short matter of time until this happened.

Zex: *bursts into the room like Cramer* "Did someone say giant fighting robots?"
Random Lyoko Freak: "It's just Transformers."
Zex: "Oh, never mind, then. I already reviewed that one. Hey, you got any tea? I'm out."
Random Lyoko Freak: "It's on top of the stove."
Zex: "Thanks." *takes the whole box, leaves*

I heard somewhere that Peter Cullen said in an interview that there were going to be three Transformers movies for sure. So this won't be the last sequel. Can we hope for Unicron to appear in the third one?

If it wasn't for that one scene when they are looking for the glasses...THAT ONE SCENE I would buy the DVD.

With the Mod's permission, I would like to change this article a little, to not be specifically about Michael Bay's film, but to be about all things Transformers-related, including Transformers Animated, G1, Beast Wars, the upcoming movies, G2, books, crossovers with Avengers, etc.

So, first question: It's been six months. What do you think of Transformers: Animated so far? Good, bad, so-so? I wish they'd concentrate less on Bumblebee and Sari and focus in on the Dinobots, Optimus, and the other good characters. Other than that, it's okay.
