Punch-Out!! - The Comic (need opinions)

So, I need some opinions on this comic idea I've been tossing around in my head for the last... week? I dunno.

The comic is based on a video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System (or NES), called Punch-Out!!, previously known as Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! (the difference with the basic title is Mike Tyson's role is replaced with some buff guy called Mr. Dream.)

The idea follows the same basic concept of the game, but basically adding some storyline to it. This is what I have so far;
Mac Mason is a young man whose family is starting to become overcome with debt, so when he sees that the WVBA will be holding a contest for the worlds greatest boxers by next year, Mac wants to enter it. However, he needs some training, so he seeks help from a previous world champion, Doc 'The Dream' Louis. Though Doc is currently retired, he accepts the proposal, then after many months of training, he enters the ring as Little Mac!

Basically I wanna know two things...
1. Is it worth making into a real story?
2. Would anyone be able to help out with making this comic? Having an artist working with me would be it a whole lot easier.

Hmm..is the comic funny or dramatic, or a mix of both? Is it a sprite comic or a normal comic?

As of right now, further details are kind of foggy since I'm still in the 'Do or don't' process until I have more feedback. But I'd imagine like the game, it would have it's share of humor, but I want it to also have some seriousness as well. As for the style, it will be a drawn comic, but the overall style depends on if I'm going to be the one drawing it or not.

Well..... you see...... I can't draw, but I can write! Like make you a story line, but overall I can't draw!
