the big thing i noticed in the video( i saw only the main one) is he dosent give any proof. no proof at all that he creadted william. surley if he had proof he would show it. il watch the rest but come on, if your gonna say someone stole your idea or what not at least have proof to back it up...

Once upon a time I had an idea for a show, I called it Kyra: The Daughter Of The Devil.

It told the tale of Kyra Piper, the spawn of satan just plain trying to live her life while doubling as the anti-christ with a group of her friends from various planes of existance. I thought it out in much detail and became sadden that I would never see my creation come to fruitation. I'm not an animator, I never will be an animator. But I wanted nothing more than to give my idea life.

I went to the Adult Swim message boards, and wrote everything down in the suggestion box. Even though show ideas are against the rules I wrote in bold I DON'T CARE, STEAL THIS IDEA. CHANGE WHAT YOU WANT. I JUST WANT TO SEE MY SHOW HAPPEN BEFORE I DIE.

months later, and various changes (only I can spot them, but a handful of my ideas survived) Lucy Daughter Of The Devil had a pilot showed on Adult Swim. Coincidence? Now the offical story is that the guy got inspiration by watching The Omen. I however, know the truth.

I'm not looking for props or glory. Infact I've never mentioned this outside of my friends who saw some orignal drafts, and I'm not expecting any one to believe it either. But the fact is Adult Swim did what I asked and "STOLE" my idea.

So it's not outside the realm of possibilty that there may be truth to what this guys saying. Thats the only reason why I mention it.

Going back to "getting his facts straight", was there even a contest to enter a character? The only one I know of was, yeah, that one where the 11-year-old Chinese boy (I think) entered and got his character into...I think it was Cold War. (Someone mentioned it before.)

Anyway, I don't know whether to believe him, and I actually don't want to, because if he's telling the truth, then I have now seen the face of the person who created one of my favorite characters from one of my most favorite-est animated shows in the world. And when you know the creator's face, then the character gets a little bit less real.

There's no evidence to prove it true...or false. i'm not sayin' he's right but I'm not sayin' he's wrong either because we don't have the proof to show that he's a big, fat lier. although I did find the film somewhat amusing... but that's only because I like watching people make fools of themselves even if they are right.
