Don't I wish! My car is rather more boring...

Actually, I'd prefer a Messerschmitt KR200 if I could fit in one...

Yeah; those need engine rebuilds and all-new bodywork; going to cost over US$50K one way or another...

I wish I could afford a Miata... *sigh*

My dad let me drive before. It was so cool. And my older sister lets me drive her car. I can drive I guess you could say. (Even though I'm 14)

DRIVING IS SO COOL!

Ever thought of going into kart racing or dirt-biking?

Try saying that at Peru (if you ever visit it), with the taxi drivers and crazy bus-driver kamikazes around Lima.

A German living and working in Colombia presented at a symposium put on by my employers, and I had occasion to drive him between his hotel and the office. He told me that Jamaican drivers are quite disciplined compared to Colombians.

I never, never, NEVER want to go to Colombia!

Jamaicans generally drive like (insert any... no, insert *all* BKO words here!)!!!! I'm sure that more than half of them bribed the examiners to get their licences!

Don't know much about jamaicans, but colombians aren't that polite. Other thing to count is that you're not a taxi driver. Or you do that as a hobby too?

Ignore what the Germany guy said and think about the colombian woman, they're really hot, and nice places are on Colombia to tour around (wanna do that, someday), like Cartagena, Bogotá, Manizales, Barranquilla, etc. But Colombia also has a bad side: delinquence, FARC, the most polluted river in the world (at Bogotá or Barranquilla), burriers, drug lords, narcos, etc.

This isn't BKO, or I'd tell you what I think of taxi drivers! :cussout:

I might consider taking a cruise to Cartagena, but I don't want to be in any situation where I would travel by road there! If their drivers make Jamaicans look disciplined then they must be (censored) HORRIBLE!!!

That's the standard thing in Jamaica. I know people who claim to have bribed examiners to get their licences. Judging by the number of bad drivers in Kingston, I'm sure at least two of those big houses in the hills overlooking Kingston must belong to examiners...

In case you're wondering, I have no firsthand proof of this. I never offered them a bribe and they never solicited one. In fact, on each of the five occasions in which I failed my driving test, the examiner showed me exactly what I did wrong. On the one occasion in ehich I failed my riding test, it was fairly obvious: I stalled while riding between the cones.

I am one of the few licenced motorcyclists in Jamaica. Most riders just ride on a learner's permit that they renew every year. I did that for most of the time I had the bike. I rode around Jamaica on a learner's permit (and a motor vehicle driver's licence... general vehicles up to 4000 kg)
