I dunno if you know... but when I try using "http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/1418/oddpunch4wp.gif" as my avatar, I get:

That happened to me. Your avatar probably is over 50 KB, or its past 100 X 100 for the avatar size. Hope this helps. :)
