i think the software was only invented in like the 80s or something at the very latest. but i checked out another phpbb forum i go to sometimes and they have user q (lol) also. weird...

The ghost strikes again...at least from what I can see. Does anyone see a No-Name poster with a post at "December 31st, 1969 8:00 PM" on it as the newest post for CL Discussion? Scary...

Dude, my forum really IS haunted.
Edit: Hayley's right, though. While User Q actually posting *does* seem to be unique to the forum, his existance is not a first. Here is another phpBB forum with a ghost:

Look at paid forums, like Katy's, though. (Link posted above.)
I do have to say, though... this is the first time I've ever heard of a ghost posting.
I think the purpose of user Q, though, is to ensure that people aren't going to sign up and not enter a username. But the posting thing is freaky.

Has anyone tried posting something new on the CL Discussion board? That might eliminate that weird post...should I try that or does everyone want to keep it that way for awhile as a funny tribute...now that I think about it, maybe angering the ghost by bumping his/her post would be a bad idea...
