One New Fanart/New Guestbook

So... we finally have some new things around here!

Well, nothing huge, but... you know. The important thing is that I'm actually updating my site again... for the most part. xD *is a bad site owner*

Anyhoo... the biggest new thing is one new fanart picture drawn by the excellent AnimeKittyCafe. ^^ Fabulous job, girl, you draw an awesome Aelita!

Another smaller thing is that I've replaced the old guestbook with a new, higher-tech one that I am still tweaking. I moved most of the old entries to the new 'book, but I didn't keep anyone's e-mail address who provided one because if I did they'd all be sent 'yay and thanks for signing' messages, which would be annoying and/or unexpected. ^__^;

Regardless, you should go test it out for me. Thanks. xD

Okay, so something is wrong with my GB apparently... all the entries have mysteriously disappeared.

I sent an e-mail to the people who created my guestbook script and we'll see what they have to say. I'm guessing I can't get my entries back though. :/ Then again, you never know...

i dont know what kind of scripting support you have on your server (although since its running phpbb here, i guess it would have php and mysql support, wouldnt it? ), but have you thought about moving over to using php scripts instead of cgi? Maybe its just me, but after hearing about so many horror stories with cgi, ive never touched it with a 10 foot pole. again, thats just me

Well, everything seems to be back to normal. I contacted support for Active Guestbook and they said they have no clue what happened but they restored all my messages from a backup they had (...why did they have a backup of my guestbook...?)

Oh well, the good news is that everything is okay now. =3
