Spam Bots on the Forum

You know what you should do when you see a spambot thread? IGNORE IT AND DON'T POST ANYTHING ON IT. Yes, you heard me loud and clear. It is already stupid to read a few idiots replying to a spambot thread telling the bot to go away and die. That is too f**king pathetic.

That's why I posted here, where we're supposed to report spambots. I did not reply to it. I ledft it alone. However, since it was posting many porn links, I thought it best for it to go away, and since I don't have that power, I posted here so someone who did could take care of it. I only did what I was supposed to do.

Reesane, please chill out. It's good that you can detect users that are spambots, but we, the Mods don't have powers to delete a user. If we did, that would be awesome in so many way.

Yeah...that was just weird. How much you wanna bet that that SB only joined this site just to advertize that one? Dang, I hate people like that! And sometimes, after they do that, they just leave the site forever--never to return! It's like we're one of those victim insects that, unknowingly, other insects' eggs get laid on and then, when they hatch, they feed of us until we're nothing but dead carcass all the life scuked out of us but in this case, a forum with a bunch of stupid links that go anywhere, you name it, and no one even knows what the point of this site is anymore because what it's become is a...just a stupid link database where you can find tons of cr*p laying around to websites that no one cares about. If I don't get a standing ovation for that, I don't know what I'd have to do!

You know... sometimes, it's better to delete their posts. While you people barely notcied some spambots days ago, I deleted them rather than syaing anything.

Now with the Orgh bot... I see TB3 taking the chance to edit Orgh's posts to his own will rather than deleting them, but in the process TB3 makes himself trying to sound like he was a good guy.

Maybe it's just me... but yeah, I've also deleted spambots, but it's not a must to edit their posts and making yourself soud like the superhero. That's kinda... gay IMO.

Kudos to the people who didn't reply to those threads. I appreciate that.

Ahem - people have had a go at me in the past for deleting threads rather than editing them Rodri, hence why I just modified the message (personally I'd prefer deleting them and thus clear up the forums a bit) - I'm just trying to remove spam and have a bit of fun - let's not have yet another fight over something as trivial as this.
