Forum Messing Up?

generally speaking (and to try and lessen the confusion), whatever or whoever had made the mess only removed TB3's core profile from the forums (username, join date, post count, etc. were the only things missing). all TB3's posts and topics were still here, but due to his profile not being here, the forum refused to display the posts and topics he had made. once the profile was put back in, everything pretty much returned to normal.

to further kind of "clean up", what you would probably want to do is go back into phpmyadmin under the "phpbb_users" table. click the "browse" button to be able to read all the lines in there.

to try and somewhat "consolidate" the 2 accounts, you would have to find the user_id "310" (TB3's new account) and delete it. then have TB3 log into his old account (I emailed you the temp password TB3). then back to the phpbb_posts table, find all the posts with the poster_id of "310" and change those to "102" to link those posts back to TB3's old account.

to get TB3's post count back up, simply go back to the phpbb_users table again and edit the user_id "102" line and change the "postcount" entry from 10 up to something more realistic like 1120 (forum search reveals 1127 results under his name last I checked).

I don't really know why - we do know that occasionally we get 'ghost visitors' but this, if not a server glitch, could have been a hack aimed directly at me, and thus an act of war against Lyokofreak.

As to why I have no idea - DL was implying that 'someone' could be the cause of it but I always had good relations with Dylan and OBoy.

My current concern is whether this could happen again with greater repercussions, but right now I'm just grateful to be here - though I am once again a 'New Kid' and banned from BKO - but WTH - I'm sure it will all sort out in time but right now I think most of the guys here have had a stressing night and I expect, nay demand they take a break from fretting over me and go have fun!

again, not a problem at all guys. being a longtime phpnuke user, ive seen glitches and hacks such as this one come and go (and some even more severe. i cant tell you how many times my nuke site has been hacked and completely "revamped" so to speak ). I guess it comes with the territory as they say.

no we dont know EXACTLY what caused it. but due to the direct nature of the attack, its assumed it was a deliberate hack and was probably someone who had a vendetta against TB3 (well, not a vendetta, but ya know what I mean. )

Really, Dylan got banned AGAIN!? They took him off TV.com and now he got banned here as well. I remember Oddboy, he was a cool kid back then, with all his big threads. I wonder what he could do to get banned off of here, now enkigilbert21 I never heard of...but again I had a lot of members on different boards.

Mewberries however I do remember, she was a awesome member, one of the best in my book, and I'm going to see the TvTome Group Pic, in the art board right?

We still have some problems with TB3's account. The first being his total posts and rank have been reset. The second being 'Odd' . Go into memberlist and find TB3's new account and you find two TB3s...
